Yea. I started with Coldplay. now I'm expanding my musical horizons.

i cant stand listening to hard stuff anymore...i'm happy with my semi-emo and soft music...but i still listen to some non soft music..? does that make sence?

yeah i guess...i still like the hard stuff, and i dont mean the rap/rock crap, i dont listen to that. lol

i dont care to "expand my music horizons" i'll stay mostly in the rock category...lol :D

lol

my ears dont do that, maybe because i just always keep away from it

I can't get into rap at all.

I want Tool to release a new cd.

i heard that they were breaking up..but i wasnt sure...

i heard someone saying that all these good bands were breaking up and i heard tool...i dont know..and i really hope not!

yeah i've been hearing about a lot of old good bands breaking up too....one i heard just recently...actually yesterday, but i can't remember who. some drummer of a band is leaving it to do his own thing and is working with the drummer from a perfect circle. josh freese.

i'm not even sure if that's all actually the same story, but if that sounds familiar maybe you two know which band i'm talking about.

yeah i want tool to release another one too, but you have to remember it took them 5 years to release lateralus. no telling how long it would be if and when the next album comes out, and that's all if they don't break up. i dont see how they would, i've never noticed any of them having problems or no need for them to break up. they seem fine and dandy to me :?

I'm pretty sure Tool isn't breaking up. It's just that the singer is singing for another band right now, A Perfect Circle.

well of course i knew that :D

That band better not be breaking up! They're music is too good!

they're already legends. they better not break up. it'll be kind if stupid if they did. they dont have any problems, or atleast havnt shown they have any problems

  • Author

yea exactly. A band just doesn't break up because they're all doing side projects. That's just stupid. Anyways, it will probably be awhile before they go back to the studio to record their next album.

it took them 5 years to do the new one. hehe

i hope we dont have to wait another 5 years :?

I know. But that was because of legal issues, or so I was told.

yeah it was. :D

  • Author

yea. I don't know what those legal issues were exactly though.

it was with their label

during the time that was all happening maynard was working with apc

well atleast they got the next one out. hope no problems come up now

  • Author

don't feel stupid.

I heard Marynard and APC are coming out with a new album soon.
