they've pretty much started the rock that a lot of people love here in the states. that's why it would be such a big dissapointment to see them break up.

Tool is good. They have gritty guitars and heavy bass, and bring out good messages, just through disturbing lyrics. Most of all though, I like Tool because they're not a commercial band.
