• "Coldplay want Beyonce Knowles to star in the video for their next single Fix You, because their fans deserve more "gorgeous girls".
   
  The band aren't confident people like their promo for Speed of Sound, the first single from their new album X&Y - but they think they are naturally disadvantaged because there are no women in the group.
   
  Frontman Chris Martin says: "I think the only way for us to get a video that does really well is for us to get Beyonce in it. I'm not sure how we're going to do that, though. We're at such a disadvantage because we don't have gorgeous girls in our band.
   
  "So it's much harder for us to make videos. We should make videos like that band that always has loads of gorgeous girls in their videos - Maroon 5. I think we should give them a call."

I don't know. If she's gonna be showing half her ass in the video, I don't want it. If she's gonna look decent, I wouldn't mind at all.

if beyonce makes an appearance in any video they make, i'm going to loose a lot of respect to coldplay. no joke. Only P Diddy can pull something like this... like having everyone in the world join cameo in his music vids.

 

don't get me wrong... it works for him. but this is NOT coldplay's style. and, i'm not making fun of P Diddy in any way. He puts out some catchy tunes (even though they're all sampled) :)

I'm pretty sure Chris is just joking around about this...like how he said that maybe he should kill himself because then his work would be appreciated more since he's dead, or something like that..you guys know what I'm talking about.
