Exactly Camille. Florida storms dissolve as fast as they appear. And yes the humidity is a sticky soupy hell but I know that NYC summers can be even worse. Still Florida's not so bad. It's got its charms. If you're feeling homesick about your family and friends take a visit down here. There are pretty cheap flights from NY to Miami.
