chris playing guitar in yellow

Featured Replies

when i saw the glastonbury performance i was surpirsed when chris was playing a guitar! one that wasn't acoustic i may add...at least i don't think so, it was funny shaped.

so does anyone know if he's played it in recent gigs? i know back in may he didn't play it.

my guess is, that now that he has white shadows to dance around to as well as in my place, he might have chosen to go back to playing the guitar in it.

anyone else notice this?

yeah...they use to have that "phantom 4th member" who played extra guitar during yellow and the scientist during the last tour...forgot his name...

anyway...perhaps he's no longer going to be playing during the concerts.

The phantom member is Hoppy, their guitar tech.

Chris has been playing guitar more than he used to recently I've noticed as well; songs that come to mind right now off of "X & Y" are "Low" and "Till Kingdom Come."

I'm sure I have seen him use that guitar before hummm :wink3:

best days work he ever done. he aint the best dancer, so when he has a guitar in his hands it seems alot more complete.

Ive got a live gig in manchester on tape, and he plays the guitar on yellow in that but still jumps around as much with or without it :)

is that the Manchester MEN one on mtv? if it is, i have that two. yeah he jumps about, but he aint hoping on one leg and place on hand up and trying to climb on air

hah i was watching the live 2003 dvd during GPASUYF and said "i think chris martin is the only person that i have ever seen dance around with an acoustic guitar"

and its true!

He always used to play guitar in the early days - it's only the last couple of years he's happier sat on a Piano stool .
