My faveorite coldplay song is Shiver.

 

I can just see Chris Martin in a tux holding a glass of brandy singing in a dimly lit bar.

 

It is the most beautiful song I've ever stripped to. ;)

A Rush of Blood to the Head - Simply classic.

Everything's Not Lost - Classic and powerful. I love the chords at the end.

I always consider two sides to Coldplay's music. The beautiful songs and the "rock" or "heavier" songs.

 

Favourite Beautiful: Amsterdam (No contest. Powerful and perfect.)

Favourite Rock / Heavy: One I Love (Phenomenal live and just an amazing sound.)

 

BUT as most people have been saying it is so hard to choose because I always have different songs in my head depending on mood and where I am. Today for example Careful Where You Stand is in my head and I find that I am singing it to myself. However Amsterdam and One I Love are ALWAYS on my MP3 player and on my playlists on my PC.

Yellow. This song never fails to make me go... ahhhh.

This sums up my relationship with my best friend. A year ago, we were in two totally different circles of friends and now... I want to be near him every day, and I can't stop thinking about him.... But he still has a thing for one of his old girlfriends. He's wonderful and funny in that whole "i'm a nerd" way...

I think, ya know enough now :-) Great song, I adore how the music and lyrics grow verse by verse.

Shiver! and the video is just perfect as an introduction to the fine young fellows playing their hearts out.

Scientest! Beautiful song. Also it was played at my friends memoreal when after he died, So its very special. Second is probably In My Place!
