digital cameras at toronto show?

Featured Replies

hey, im going to the toronto show, you think they will allow digital cameras?

ACC is known for NOT allowing cameras at all. Hide it in your pants.

i havent been to a concert in a while..if i take my camera, will they take it away? hide it in my pants huh? the thing is, why i thought cameras might be allowed it because i bought tickets for system of a down too, and on ticketmaster, on the system of a down page is clearly says no cameras or video allows...on the coldplay page it doesnt say that

Took camera into U2, Oasis and Coldplay no problem. Into the front of sock on the shin, once in, slip it into baggy pocket out of the way of security vision. Once in the middle of crowd, hey presto...

If caught, say goodbye to camera.

If they see your camera, they may take it away. If they see it before you enter the show, they won't let you in with it. You can just assume that with big bands playing big venues, cameras are not allowed.

yeah, i've never successfully gotten my camera into the acc..but i've never tried to hide it. the acc are jackasses, unlike most venues...they might swipe your camera if they see you using it. depending on where you are.

my friends were second row for a concert and got theirs swiped, but i'm sure if you are farther from the stage there's a better chance they will ignore you using it.

good question. btw, does anyone know if madison square garden allows digital cameras? it doesn't seem like people had trouble taking photos for the european gigs, i wonder what it would be like for the U.S. tour.

Well, the fact that people didn't have trouble taking pics doesn't mean cameras are allowed :D At my gig they just took a quick glance at your bags, and if they didn't see any big telelenses sticking out they let you in. And the security fellows at the fence just let you take pics.

On my tickets for Bolton Reebok, it stated NO PROFESSIONAL CAMERAS. As small digital cameras are not this type, they must be excluded. I was seen with mine by stewards at the end and had no bother. All down to the venue and rules on the ticket. Read it carefully.

A good way to get camera's in is if u take a coat stick it in. i have done that and got in fine considering they don't usually check ur coat.

They feel you up and down at ACC to check for weapons and stuff.

^^ In that case it may not work. wait they can't really do that girls. i know when they have seared me they only put there have put their hands on the middle of my back and thats it.

hahaha yeah i don't think can pat girls down really. and if they do (i don't think i've ever been pated down at a concert...) they can't do it in detail.

so funny, i went to a concert with my brother and just walked in along with my sister, while they did a complete body check on my brother

To most of the shows that I have been to, girl security check girls and vice versa, so girls pat you down. They mostly check purses though.
