They've bought a new apartment in NYC according to Gwynnies board (I only go out of curiousity...promise :embarrased: )

Gwyneth Takes TriBeCa

THE actress Gwyneth Paltrow and her husband, Chris Martin, the lead singer for the rock band Coldplay, paid $7.95 million last month for a 7,000-square-foot condominium in TriBeCa.

A deed filed with the city shows that they signed a contract for the apartment in February, about the same time Ms. Paltrow put a town house she owned on West Fourth Street, in Greenwich Village, on the market. The actress completed the sale of that property earlier this month, for $6.9 million.

Stephen Huvane, Ms. Paltrow's publicist, said she and Mr. Martin are also in the process of buying another home north of the city, in Westchester County.

"This is a place for when she has to be based in the city," he said of the TriBeCa condo. "But she's looking to spend more time outside the city where she can have a yard." The couple also own a home in London.

The TriBeCa apartment has a terrace and was renovated by the architect Annabelle Selldorf in the late 1990's in an open loftlike style.

The brokers Carter Wilcox and Patricia Warburg Cliff of the Corcoran Group represented Ms. Paltrow and Mr. Martin in the deal.

Once you live in new york city, you can't leave it :D Personally, they should have kept the townhouse instead of buying a condo...

I've heard that Chris wants his home base to be England and Gwyneth wants new york, so they agreed on California...so the Beverly Hills rumor could very well be true.
