My real name is Beatriz but my family call me Bea, Beti or Betina (i prefer bea really )

the first who was called Giulia was Giulio Cesare's daughter :dozey: .I don't really like my name that much:/

i know, i had to study it at school.. was a part on latin lessons how romans used to live their tipical things, rules and things like this.. so we studied that a girl got the as birth name the family name of her father so if the dad is from the family caio his daugther is called caia or something like this..

i didn't liked my name when i was younger because there was a famous doll called bea so everyone joke at my name :dozey:

  oh! I'm sorry for that  :P ;)

Anyway...yes it's eyactly this sort of "father's name" :dozey: ...I don't like this part of history :snore:

hehe i had to study it for my latin lessons lol i guess that if you study spanish you don't have to study things like that  at least it don't have to be important to pass the year lol.

no problem giuly that's part of my past lol school is far now :D

:P .......

Ah!!! I have to tell you that :idea2: ...being you the first Godmother of Apple ;)

Guess how my mom wanted to call me when I was borne :D

MELINA...wich in Italian means "little apple" :D (mela=apple...piccola mela/melina=little apple)

lol that's good and curious ;)

my mum was sure to call me beatriz even when before she known my dad lol

my name is the name of my grandma's aunt so my grandma wanted to have a friend called like her aunt. she was very pretty but she didn't had any children i think she was single all her life...

if i were a guy i'll be called like natalio (like my dad, yes male version of natalia because his grandpa were called the same and was like a tradition my dad wants to follow) or francisco (because my mum is called francisca but we call her paqui).

  • Author

wow! so you are really traditional in those thing! My grandparents were like that too...

My dad's called Angelo like my grandfather's dad... ....

If I was a boy than I think they would have called me Andrea, but just cause they like the name

I'm determined to call my son(if I'll ever have one :D ) Colin....I just LOVE this name...

well my mum was saying to me yesterday that she want to have some grandsons and granddaugthers soon (she wants a couple (guy and girl) lol i was like 'i'm too young to have a baby' lol... and she want i call them like family names lol i told her and my dad time ago i won't call them like some family name i'll call them with other names that aren't in family.

well they are not too traditional.. my mum call me beatriz because was a promise, because my grandma was very ill and was like her last desire in life so that's why i'm called like this.

but when my older cousin born was my mum who decided the name , her sister ask my mum 'which name do you prefer ivan or rubén' so my mum choose iván because in russian it means juan like my grandpa :)

^so at least it is always a family name  :P

My mom and dad don't have problems with names...my elder sister has 2 children and they have really uncommon names: Noa(girl) and Lapo(boy)

When she told us the names for the first time we were alll like "they're to weird call she/he different" especcialy with lapo (wich is a very old italin name-Dante's best friend was called so- ) nobody knew the name before...

But now we got used to it..and I really like it/them :D

that's a good idea, but i really don't know now how i will call my babies when i have them... if i ever have mines...

now is not a priority for me i'm too young yet...
