hi anna! we miss you.

she´s fine!she´s attending some latin lessons and she´s usually away with our friends...she says hi too of course and she misses you too:nice:

i'll do those exams (are two), before i go to portugal. i think that i found it difficult here, in a foreign language i will find it more difficult may be... btw i won't study foreign languages in Portugal, because my uni don't reckon the results that i will get there here... so i won't waste time.... i think that i'll be able to improve them, 'cause there will be more european students and we'll have to talk mainly in english i think, and will be anough effort to learn portuguese correctly in a year i think.

i see. well i guess thats a good idea living in a different country and learning portuguese is hard enough. and you'll improve your english anyway when you speak to foreign students.

oh and hi anna! :nice: dont think i've spoken to you before.

good luck with latin anna ;)

she says thanks:)

she says thanks:)

Which Anna is this?:confused:

@ sally: i find portuguese a bit hard because some words have pretty different meaning as the same word in spanish (many false friends), but the grammar is quite similar. :)

@mark: anna is cipy :)

i see. a friend of mine is portuguese and she told me she understood spanish quite well.

hi sally I am giulia....have I ever spoken to you?

@marek:hey neiborough!:p...

yes the language is pretty similar, but that's why i find difficult, i think it'll be easy to get used to those differences soon, when i'll be there, but since i learn them, it will be a bit confusing i think... :uhoh:

i'm used to understand languages more than can speak or write them... i'm afraid that i will make lots of mistakes... but if i'm not brave to try i won't improve it. (that's what our language teachers told us, we must be brave to try to speak a language that's when we will learn it).

yeah i think speaking to people and actually living in the country helps a lot.

my friend also had spanish at school and i dont think she had to study a lot. but the fact that the two languages are pretty similar also makes it hard because you're more motivated to study if you dont understand nothing at all.

you are right sally. but what i'm more worried is with the lots of false friends that there are between spanish and portuguese :confused:
