Yeah, personally die Ärzte are one of the best bands! I really like their music. Now singer Farin Urlaub and drummer Bela B. are going their own ways but I really hope they will create new songs in the future.

 

At Silvester there is a huge Ärzte open-air concert in Cologne. :wink3:

I wonder why you in Slovakia know Die Ärzte. :nice: But they often performed in East European countries I think.

Today I read on a Dutch site that Wir sind Helden are very successful there, because during World Cup a TV channel always played their song "Wenn es passiert" at the end of every football show. :nice:

I was in Amsterdam this last weekend and we got MTV.de on our TV and they showed a Wir Sind Helden gig and I really liked them! They reminded me of The Zutons and Coldplay strangely and now I have downloaded some of their stuff. Are they popular in Germany or too "poppy"?

They are popular in Germany...and not poppy....there are more seen as a band that makes good music....;)

Yeah, they really make good music. I like them too. But unfortunately I've never seen them live.

Yeah, they're very popular in Germany and in some parts of East Europe. But they also performed twice in London last year. :nice:

 

I saw them 2 month ago at the Hurricane Festival (just a few minutes before the heavy thunderstorm destroyed the area) and they were amazing! They also did a lot of jokes on stage.

 

One year ago they performed at Live 8 in Berlin.

when I listened to madsen this morning I realized that "panik" totally reminds me of the old days - before they were called madsen and weren't that famous at all, hehe... I kinda got the feeling that the song already existed 4 years ago, but I can't really remember :rolleyes:

It's sad, that Madsen has always the same sound - a bit. "Du schreibst Geschichte" sounds just like the old album of Madsen.
