Yeah it's his Bundevision song;)

If his voice wasn't that weird I'd really like his songs....

erm I've been watching more videos of the new songs on youtube....I think I will buy the new album...the songs sound nice...:D

Honestly I was totally shocked when I watched the world premiere of this clip above a few weeks ago. I didn't like it and I really hope that the other songs of the new record will not sound similar. Perhaps it needs time to like the new songs. Someone told me that the new album will sound more like the first album called "Die Reklamation". I will listen to it sooner or later.

There are more songs of this album on youtube...they had an exclusive unplugged concert for SWR3 some weeks ago...;)

the other songs sound nice imo....well I like "Endlich ein Grund zur Panik" although I was also shocked when I listened to it for the first time hehe...

 I think everyone here dislike Tokio Hotel! But I heard they're successful in East Europe and France as well.

Anyway, "Übers Ende der Welt" means "Over the end of the world".

I recently started to appreciate Wir sind Helden's new song which Julia posted above. This song took a long time for me to like it. :D

Yesterday I got the new Musikexpress, but the new album of Wir sind Helden only got 3 1/2 stars of 6, so I'm a bit afraid to buy it... But well, you have to build your own opinion, so I'll definitely listen to the record sooner or later.

oupsssssssssssssssssss

in any case i like this group and danke for the meaning:)

about Tokio Hotel:

I must admit the music is not THAT bad.....there are much worse things out there (like Monrose, Banaroo and all that crappy stuff....)...BUT what I dislike about them is that they are "pushed" too much and that they act as if they were THE mega stars....so arrogant

You're welcome! ;)

True, I have to admit that for example"Durch den Monsun" wasn't that bad, but I also think that the media have pushed them a lot and all those crazy girls who screamed everytime were getting on my nerves! :D

I tolerate their work though...

yeah i remark it too but it's maybe because they're still young and everything makes them very excited so they forget what they was before

that's is a bad thing but i like their music style ( not much their clothes style:P )

Last Friday when I went shopping in Oldenburg I often heard Wir sind Helden's new record in the background of some record shops. My first opinion was good, so I finally bought it (9,99€ at Saturn ) and I'm pleasantly surprised.

Not a surprise that some of their lyrics are just unique, like in "Labyrinth" or in "(Ode) an die Arbeit" and "Soundso". The whole album is a bit more calm, totally different to their new single "Endlich ein Grund zur Panik". I like the part of Francesco Wilking (frontman of the band "Tele") during "Für nichts garantieren". They also have a song with an English title called "The Geek (Shall Inherit)", but mostly this song is in German.

My favourites so far are "Soundso", "Für nichts garantieren", "Kaputt" and "Labyrinth". I don't think that the album deserves the bad reviews of Musikexpress and Rolling Stone magazines. I'd rather prefer the opinion of laut.de.

I actually heard (and saw) a great German band recently. They're called STERNKIN and the reason they're so good is because they sing in English and have an English style (their sound has been heavily influenced by the likes of Coldplay and Keane).

I met them after the Marillion gig and they're very friendly guys, too.

They also agreed with me that Kettcar are awful, so they obviously have great taste.;)

Coldplay should book them as the support next time they tour here instead of a group like Kettcar, who were totally inappropriate.;)

I heard of Sternkin...they added me on their myspace because they support a project that is called "Rock gegen Kinderporno" that's really cool.....too bad I haven't checked out their music yet....

I hate this song.

Yesterday I've watched the whole broadcast of MTV at this year's "Rock am Ring" festival and in the evening they have shown live Die Ärzte... It was one of the best concerts I've ever seen! They really did some funny things with the audience like a "sitting-laola" or "corn-fields" which both looked absolutely astonoshing!

Sitting-laola

During "Dinge von denen" Farin Urlaub and Bela B. wore custumes of fat super heroes! I nearly pissed myself when I watched this. Even Rod couldn't stop to laugh... :D

How long did I wait for this day?! :nice:

Yesterday MTV TRL showed the brand new video of "Die Ärzte". The first song of their new album "Jazz ist anders" is called "Junge" and there are two different videos of it.

The first clip is the uncensored one and MTV Germany is only allowed to play it after 10pm. So if you're 18 and it's after 10pm, use this link...

The second version is censored. You really have to watch the uncencored one first, because the cencored version is absolutely funny and I couldn't stop to laugh after watching both clips for the first time.

I'm totally sure that it was Farin Urlaub's idea! :D

Anyway, cannot wait 'til November 30th to see them in Bremen!

no offense, but i still hate die ärzte... well, everything's a matter of taste anyway ^^

;)

Yes - and you have good taste for not liking them, as they suck.;)

no offense, but i still hate die ärzte... well, everything's a matter of taste anyway ^^

but i do like those guys: http://www.myspace.com/thekilians ;)

Ähm... I don't want you to love them!! I only posted this videos, because it might be interesting for some people.

I've read a bulletin about the Kilians in a music magazine last month. They compared their new album with the Strokes...

Don't know what Mark wrote but I couldn't care less!

OMG what a video :stunned:

it reminds me of the movie "28 weeks later" which i watched some days ago :laugh3:

^It's the music that counts, not videos.;)

i don't like their music

i don't like their music

Glad to hear it.;)

So what's the point in watching the video, then?

If a band needs a video in order to "sell" its sound, then the music must be severely lacking in quality.

ah well the new Ärzte song is a bit too much "Ärzte" for me...it's the typical Ärzte sound...it does not really sound new....but the text is still good...haha....and the video is funny too....
