November 17, 200619 yr I'm sure you'll make friends easily, Jules  I hope I haven't put off the thread, Nik. This threas is the coolness  hehe thanks for this optimism Mo...;) in my current state I even believe this as well........what I'm most excited about is to meet people who are interested in the same things like me.....you know....people who want to study musicology must be cool....:P haha this thread is the coolness? it's nice to hear that....because I always thought there is nothing special about it....only a boring name thread.... (although I must admit it's the longest name thread on this board...lalala...) Thanks for saying that guys....

Now it just seems to be a two-way conversation most of the time, like on Windows Live Messenger or something..........................
November 17, 200619 yr I prefer watching films in their original languages too. It feels more genuine. Btw Jules, I want to watch some German films. Can you recommend anything?
November 17, 200619 yr oh that's nice........don't know if there is any german channel which does that as well....the only one that comes to my mind right now is "arte" which does similar things.....and maybe "3sat" but I'm not sure about that.... yes, i noticed that  there was a documentary, No Direction Home about Bob Dylan (directed by Scorcese!!!) i guess on Arte, but i'm not sure. it was kinda late (around midnight), wanted to watch it but fell asleep lol btw, it was in english with subtitles hahaha......films in chinese??Sounds funny.... My problem is.....when I watched the film in german first and want to watch it in the original language again afterwards.....I got used to the german language and think that the original voices make everything so strange....ahha i do the same when i have an opportunity, but here in SUI i don't really have a chance to do it. i mean, i speak and understand ENG and GER approximately at the same level. so if i don't understand something in ENG, then very likely i won't understand it in GER either, you know what i mean :\

November 17, 200619 yr Yeah, but back then when there were like 10 people talking things used to get a bit confusing. Cheers Nik. Is "Lola Rennt" "See Lola Run", with Franka Potente? I've heard of that.
