Ahhhh I thought that......I don't know it....maybe my sister once showed me this song....she has the best of album and likes them too!

Ehm... no, I don't think so ^^ It's not on the best-of-album... it's kinda unknown, because it's pretty weird (the text I posted was the complete lyrics of the song ^^) but in combination with the whole album ('The Wall'), the song is fucking awesome!

Is it one of those which has a loooooong introduction?All Pink Floyd songs I know (except Wish you were her and another brick in the wall) have this long introduction....that's why I couldn't make friends with them!

No! It gets pretty fast to the point... it just has some kinda synth-things in it which sound like screams and then this monotonic "is there anybody out there?" - but after that this lovely guitar part... damn! ^^

 

Oh and I absolutely adore these long, atmospheric intros. Shine On You Crazy Diamond... awesome!

But there are many, also good Floyd songs which have short intros, Hey You or Comfortably Numb... and you should know 'em!

Ah yeah....I think my sister showed me "shine on you crazy diamond" I can remember this a bit........I think I need time to listen to them and then i really can make my opinion.....my sis said that at first she really needed to days to get into it!
