It's extremely arrogant to come out with a statement like "This is the only interesting thread in The Lounge". That is deeply insulting to anyone else who has created a thread there.

An acceptable opinion would have been "I love this thread", or "This is the best thread".

I would have no quarrels with that, even if I disagreed.;)
