hellllllllllllllllllllllllllo

Hi, sally - bye, Julia ;-)

I'm very fine - happy, that work's over again for today ;-)

And how are you?

I'm ok...today was a nice day, I was in town shopping with a friend. I'm just a bit worried about next year. :/

You had such a good weather in Swiss like it was here? It was perfect for shopping - but I'm not really into it ;-)

You're worried 'bout the next year? Why, if I may ask?

Yeah, you can. Well, it's because I don't get along that well with my parents. And next year I will have to go studying, and my parents don't wanna support me. If my familiy couldn't afford to pay my studies I would receive 'Stipendien' (don't know the English word) but I don't because my father earns to much. It's not that I don't wanna go working, but I don't know if I can find a job to pay my studies on my own. And I don't know how much time I will have to work...I talked with my Mum about it and she says that she understands me and that she really would like to support me, but I don't think she is the one that makes the decisions. :/

And yeah, we have very nice weather. It was a great day to go shopping... I really love it and my friend does it too. We can spend hours in town....

("Stipendium" = grant, I think...)

Oh, that's a big problem! And I think, there are only very few jobs to pay a study enough. I'd be lost, if my parents won't support me - furthermore a have avsolutely no idea, how the Bafög thing is working here. Is there no financial help-institute for students in Switzerland? Oh, and will you have to pay studying fees, too?

No there is an organisation that pays for you, but your parents HAVE to for your studies (or at least support you) if they are able to. It depends on your parent's sallary if you receive any money and I know that I won't. But I can't do anything, I can't make them pay if they refuse. :/

Okay, that's hard... so every student is somehow depending on his/her parents in Switzerland - that's somehow unfair, I think. :-/

Well, you are still going to school, aren't you? If you won't find a good resort, maybe you could start studying one semester later and work during the spare time you'll have after school and save the money for the start of you study. It won't be much money though, but maybe it's enough for finding an apartment and getting over the first semesters.

Yes, I will have to do this... I can't start in the second semester, there are only some subjects you can start in the second semester. I don't mind togo working...it's just that I think my studies won't be easy and I don't know how much time I will have. This makes me really worried and I just think discusing this problem won't help me, because I don't expect them to think about it. It would probably make my situation more difficult.

Yeah, that's true! Being optimistic is always better! We better don't talk about problems, that might not come up in future for you (at least, I hope this!) :-)

Yeah, that true.

So what are you doing today? I'm going to a friend to watch the match Ireland: Switzerland. It would be so great if Switzerland qualified for the World Cup tonight!

Hehe, I'm gonna watch fottball, too, I think :-) But the match Germany vs. China, I think. Let's see, if Germany won't loose this time ;-)

You seem to be very football-interested, I saw it in the Sports-Form - not common for a girl :-)

Oh and I keep my fingers crossed for your team getting qualified for the Cup! It's long time ago I saw the match GER - SWI ;-)

Yeah, I'm very interested in football. It would be fantastic if Switzerland qualified directly (and not France :P ). But I think they will if they beat Ireland tonight.

I think the last time Switzerland played against Germany was before the Euro. Am I right? I think Germany won 2:0.

Yes, you're right! I can't remember this anymore but I researched a little bit - It was on June 2nd 2004. SWI 0:2 GER, as you said!

In football I'm only interested in international games... Bundesliga, Champions Leage, etc. don't interest me much at all... don't know why, though! ;-)
