Cry Coldplay

Featured Replies

Whenever I'm feeling low (ahah, no pun intended) I'll put on Coldplay and cry. They've helped me through a lot over the past 4 years of my life. At the moment, Fix You seems to do it for me.

Wow, I do the exact same thing... and it always works to help me feel better :)

IT SO AWESOME BECAUSE COLDPLAY HELP YOU GET OVER THINGS OR HELP YOU FIX THEM OR EVEN MAKE YOU FEEL BETTER LOVE THEM SO MUCH

Fix You.........it's such a lovely song........... I could never find a reason for me crying though...........

Warning Sign, when Chris says 'and i miss you'. I think of a certain someone, and what i'd give to be with them at that moment. Genius.

Every time Chris's voice sounds amazing (Which is alot of the time) I do get a bit emotional. He has a vioce of an angel   :dozey:

How You See the World. Because it explains absolutely EVERYTHING I've been thinking' date=' going through the entire summer.[/quote']

Same for me, it describes me well and that's why I absolutely love that song

^It's actually kind of scary how much that song speaks to me. I had been going through a lot one day, then I downloaded that and listened to it. I was just shaking because it was totally unrealistic, how Chris seemed to KNOW me!

yes! same for me..its amazing how much he gets me in that song, I wonder what led him to write that song, personal experience perhaps? :)

Probably. I remember him saying on, I think it was Storytellers, how his personal life is in his songs. And just because he married Gwyn and she's so famous doesn't mean he's going to stop writing about things inside him and close to him.

 He's so great.

he really is :shy: ..gwyn is one lucky girl

^^yep she sure is.....

one song that in my opinion speaks to me as if i had written it is The Hardest Part. i know it might not be everyone's favorite song, it is one of my favorites. i got to admit it, i didnt like it at first, but then i heard the lyrics... i was blown off. its fascinating...

another one that feels as though i wrote it is THINGS THAT I DONT UNDERSTAND. the questions that the song posts are things that always run through my head.. :(

Same thing with my mom. She loves The Hardest Part, especially the "I wonder what it's all about" line. She plays it everyday.

Fix You got me a little teary-eyed after a bad day :embarrased:

Amsterdam and The Scientist are two others.

For a while, every Coldplay song I heard made me cry...

...only because it reminded me of that concert in San Diego that I could of had section 101 seats to... ... ...

...

Not kidding, lol.

Yes. The memories come flooding back whenever I hear most of X&Y...

And I was only in the lawn seats, too. I'd probably be bawling if I'd actually been up close.

...

My aunt died this past June. I was so sad, i just sat in my room and listened to coldplay. Fix you, See you soon, The Scientist, and Yellow make me cry.

None of the Coldplay songs have made me cry yet. But, Fix You, The Scientist, I See You Soon, For You, Sparks....just so beautiful.

i'm gonna show my emotional side :) ....

The Scientist has brought tears to my eyes before, i love that song

Fix You, Yellow and Swallowed In The Sea also have had a similar effect
