I hope I can do the same :D So shy though

I was PAINFULLY shy before i went to uni...but i made some friends and fallen out with some. I have meet alot of people i dont like and a few that i do...

What i started to realise is that i worried to much about what people thought about me and if they liked me...BUT now all i worry about is whether i like them or not :smug:

Also you have to know that you are going to meet people the same as your self, your all going to be feeling the same...you no different...take a deep breath and treat it like any other day :D

Dont know if that helps you much  but just dont ponder on the thought of it too much cause if your like me it will make you worse.

CHILL WINSTON ;) :smug: :)

I remember my first day of college. I was crazy nervous, but I shouldn't have been. The great part about college is that you on equal footing with everyone. The whole "clique" mentality is thankfully almost non-existent. Trust me, you will fall right in just fine. After your first semester you will have a much better handle on the situation. Good luck ;)

I know what you mean i am a freshman at university this year and i am very very shy. And i must say i have talked to some people in my classes. But not really made any friends. hopefully it will get a bit easier.

Remember to have fun, but don't let your grades slip....otherwise, you're fucked.

I start in 2 weeks and I'm so nervous! :stunned: Noone I know is going to the same college as me! :stunned:

AND to top it all off, I'll miss the 2nd week and my course is really difficult so I'll be really lost :dizzy2: aghgghhhhhhhh :dozey:

Feefer Sutherland, Im going to England allllllll awwwlll alone :stunned:

But hey, there will be lots of other kids there in your position. You'll meet people. Hopefully I do too.

Ahhhhhhh I was gonna go to college in Reading but decided against it because of the whole loneliness factor and the fact that I'd probably die of hunger or get eaten by a rat..... but good luck! I'm sure it'll be a great experience :) and you'll meet loads of people and win them over with your crazy sense of  humour :)

I moved into my dorm about 2 weeks ago and so far I love it here. I was very nervous, just like you, because I am soooo shy, but I made lots of friends. Everyone here is awesome.

I just hope I can keep up with the classes.

I start monday. Not really nervous yet, I know someone who's on the very same course.

My advice is try not to piss yourself; I know somebody that did and they never lived it down. Now that may have been at nursery but my bet is it would have the same result at uni.

DON'T TRUST IN ANYBODY....

teachers are a fuckers, people that say that are your friends are a liar and please...DON'T BORROW MONEY TO ANYBODY! hahahah

when i first went to uni,i ended up in the same maths class as 2 girls than where in my year in school

I've settled in quite well I have a few people I talk to but

just keep myself to myself and get stuck in - I like it this way!

No - one from my old school goes there so I get on...

:)

I've been to Uni information yesterday, will start Uni next year. It was very interesting, but there were so many people, that I didn't even see the things the teacher was showing.

She told me YOU'RE a bitch :stunned:

:stunned: she did

Hahaha.

Well, for me all's so different, you get to know really interesting people from everywhere, which is cool.

About the study is kinda hard to become more independant... NOW YOU HAVE TO ORGANISE YOUR OWN TIME (time to study, hang around with friends, doing this, doing that) is your problem if you don't study/understand or supplement the classes of teachers.

It's all about how responsible your are thought. :idea2:

Huh, I start in 2 weeks.

I'll be studying Electronics/Telecommunication Engineering on the University of Technology (Wrocław, Poland)...

... and I'm scared :D

^Cool, I just started studying chemistry...

Charles..you're very young...you're now at uni!!
