Anyone going? I went through 9 pages but didn't find this topic already posted.

I'm getting a bit nervous with the previous cancellations. I'm thoroughly excited though and really look forward to it. I just checked the Starwood website and they've got it listed as a go so far.

I'll keep this topic to post photos because I'm sneaking in my digital camera.

Wow, I'm going to have the whole venue to myself! I've always wanted a private Coldplay show! :D

I'll be there for my first Coldplay show and am anxiously awaiting for some details on last night's St. Louis show to see how Martin's voice held up.

And have been listening to al 3 Coldplay records in steady rotation for weeks in eager anticipation.

There's still lawn tix available. Plus scalping is legal so you'll see people selling tix on the roads outside the venue.

they're aren't lawn available, sold out yesterday :(

i hate to buy from scalpers, but looks like i may have to

one more person to ruin your private show. with the tempature flirting with 80 and a clear night sky this night should be amazing. i might have a ticket to sell at the show, but we won't be scalping. i'm a poor college student with a conscience. unless the original owner of the ticket wants to, which i want no part of. hope to meet some new friends tonight in the lawn and if the st. louis set list holds up, i will be disappointed to not hear "green eyes". enjoy the show peoples.

I've got an extra lawn ticket. I'm selling it for like $20-25. If anyone wants it, let me know ASAP. AIM: HotPants199

Oh, or if you want to meet at the concert...I'll be wearing a red shirt that says "Enjoy Copeland" in a Coca-Cola-type font. If you want to meet there.

The show was so good!!!!!!!

Yes.

:D :D :D

^aww, the first pic is great!!

Setlist?

Does someone have a setlist they can post for this show?

Sorry all, I cant remember all of the setlist. Nothing to crazy, very similiar to the rest of the tour. I can say that, in my mind, it was almost flawless last night. Great performance!

Now, who taped it???

RE:

What time did they go on and how long did they play for? I'm seeing them on Wednesday in KC...I'm so excited!!

They sang "Over and Over"..hehe...and Tim McGraw was there with Faith Hill too. Pretty sweet.

Yeah I had a photopass for the show (that's how I got those great pictures haha) and when we were standing around in the office after we were finished shooting, one of the staff members was talking about how Orlando Bloom was there backstage. I thought that was interesting.

They went on around quarter to ten and played till about half eleven, maybe later.

He also played a little of "Hey Good Lookin" by Hank Williams too at the end of one song.

Also, did anyone see Will running around the amphitheater a couple hours before the show with three other people? I was sitting out in the parking lot and him and his work out crew ran by my car a few times, taking laps. It was so rock and roll. hahaha. But what was really funny about it was that they were running by this car that these people had written twisted logic and coldplay and x&y all over the windows in that window chalk stuff and one of them pointed it out and they all laughed about it.

I also took some video on my digital camera during Yellow, The Scientist, and Clocks, but you can hear me singing so I'm keep those to myself :)

I also have more pics from the show on my xanga as well:

They went on He also played a little of "Hey Good Lookin" by Hank Williams too at the end of one song.

Hehe, it was after Swallowed In The Sea.

I checked out your other pics too. They're pretty awesome. Good job. :D

CAR and setlist

Hey! that car that was talked about. The one Will pointed out in the parkling lot...that was MINE! awesome! I'm also looking for some bootlegs...preferably the cover of "goodnight" at the end...:)

So any word on the setlist?

I was at the Nashville show, and here is the setlist I recorded in my boyfriend's cell phone:

Square One

Politik

Yellow

God Put a Smile Upon Your Face

Speed of Sound

Low

(skipped: Rush of Blood to the Head or The Hardest Part)

Everything's Not Lost

White Shadows

The Scientist (dedicated to those on lawn)

'Til Kingdom Come (acoustic)

Ring of Fire (acoustic)

Don't Panic (acoustic)

Clocks

Talk

---

Swallowed in the Sea

In My Place

Fix You (with goodnight part at the end, which I have on video)

However, over at http://www.easytoplease.net, she has the setlist as including "A Rush of Blood to the Head." I know they've been playing it at most of the shows, but I swear, they didn't play it OR "The Hardest Part" at the Nashville show. Am I losing my mind or did they play one fewer song??

Here's the link: http://www.easytoplease.net/tour.php?page=setlist09/18/05

After looking through the setlists over there, I think they pretty much do "A Rush of Blood to the Head" or "The Hardest Part," AND "Everything's Not Lost" or "Amsterdam," AND "Don't Panic" or "Green Eyes." I've heard that at some shows they let the crowd vote on DP/GE, but they didn't at our show. People around me were disapointed about not hearing GE. I really wanted to hear "Amsterdam" instead of "Everything's Not Lost," and "A Rush of Blood to the Head" would have been amazing, too. But hey, at least I got to see them LIVE (for the first time!) and it wasn't cancelled, right? :/

i was very disappointed to not hear "green eyes" also. and i'm with you that they didn't play "a rush of blood to the head" like the other board says. i saw that and immediately came here to see if me and my group blacked out during it or not cause we all said we wanted to hear it while waiting an hour and a half to get out of the parking lot. don't get me wrong about the disappointed statement. i am thoroughly happy to have been able to go to the show. great show. just wish i could have tweaked the set list a tad.

You should submit the above set list to that other site -- if two submissions are different b/c one has something the other doesn't, she just combines them, I think. Maybe if more people say they didn't play AROBTH, she will fix it!

Oh, and don't get me started about the hour and a half to get out of the parking lot! :stunned:
