Hey All! Im a new poster and totally in love with Coldplay! I am doing a project for school involving "The Scientist" If anyone knows for certain what the lyrics to this song mean or why they wrote it, etc, etc or knows where on the web I could find this information out, I would greatly appreciate the help. This is a FANTASTIC song and Im sure it has some sentimental meaning behind it. Thanks for your help in advance.

who is Dan?

all we know is that Dan is The Scientist

dan was someone that help them with their album..someone posted the answer before...i cant remember who

damn i think i knew wat it meant not long ago, but now ive forgotten... i think i heard that the scientist was not originally written for Dan but they just mentioned him on the album sleeve...
