woow what an awesome band

ehm... just wanted to say that I really like the dire straits aaand mark knopfler's solo stuff as well. I own "sailing to philadelphia", "the ragpicker's dream" and I've listened to "shangri-la". great music and he has such a good voice...

Watching Mark Knopfler documentary on BBC 4. The man is an absolute genius. Thom Yorke? Noel Gallagher? Chris Martin? Even Jonny Marr? Sorry to say this but I think he shits on them all.
