one of my best friends is having her 17th bday party in a few weeks and it's an 80's fashion theme, yet i don't have a single clue what to wear.

 

i am absolutely CLUELESS on the 80's :)

 

anyone have any ideas on 80's fashion at all? all suggestions appreciated! :)

Stepping into the eighties fashion.

 

The high waisted blue jean with pencil bottoms was the look and you had to wear them very tight. Everybody wanted to look like Brooke Shields wearing them as she was doing a commercial for a jean company, maybe Gloria Vanderbelt?(I forget) Tight spadex pants were in too. No hip huggers around. Opened toed candy shoes, no backs and 3 to 4" heels. Little camisole tops, lace, gauze skirts and dresses with ruffles on the bottom to mid leg. The big thing was the tight jean and so tight you could harldy breath.

ask some one that were as old as you now in the 80's may be your mum, aunt, uncle... :idea2: watch any 80's film.... 'fame' may be :idea2:
