I think the simplistic lyrics and use of falsetto add to the fragile feel of the song, for me it makes it even more beautiful. :)

I can understand your reasons but I really disagree with you although I know this thread is just for give your opinion and not all the people likes the same things.

About the lyrics, you said it doesn't have feeling or personality... well, sometimes the best songs don't have the lyrics most complex, you know, sometimes only a word or a simply phrase can say to you so much things... When I listened "Fix you" for the very first time the song lyrics impressioned me a lot and I found it lovely. For me, it is a song so humane.

I like all the Coldplay songs!X an Y definetly is great...X and Y is great! :)

I can't answer questions like this, it's just too hard to choose favorites with Coldplay songs. There are very few songs they've made that I dislike.

I love both, but "Fix You" is so gorgeous. It gave me chills the first time I heard it...quite an experience. :blush:
