happiness is a mental state of feeling comfortable and warm in your life ... there are moments of short term happiness where you can laugh and feel good but then realise the state of your life and there are moments of long term love ...

 

but no happiness does not equal love ... love can equal happiness but not always ;)

Well it's in man's nature avoid pain and seek pleasure. Good things are the ones that really matter. From birth to adulthood, man's chief end is to be happy and satisfied. :)
