"Twisted Logic" reminded me of The Beatles's "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" from Abbey Road the first time I heard it. Anybody else feel this way too? Am I just stating the obvious? Was that the intention?

I can see what you're saying, the guitar at one point sounds a little like the main riff of I Want You (She's so heavy), but the song can't compare.

You can hear lots of musical influences in Coldplay songs, The Beatles being one of them!

On X&Y I can also hear some "Simple Minds" in some of the instrumentation, for example!

i find that happens with a lot of songs,not just coldplay!!

The Hardest Part reminds me of Losing My Religeon by the great R.E.M. :)

By the way, "Life is for living" is the song by Coldplay that reminds me of The Beatles very much. Nice topic...
