Something with peas inside of it, maybe for The Scientist maybe its the thing that makes that annoying ringing noise evrytime there is a drum beat (second verse)

it's played during How you see the world.and there's no weird noises during it's performance..that's bugging me..

Not where I come from... We used to have a maracas at school. Believe me, it was that size, if not bigger. Besides, I thought it's just a general name for this kind of instrument, no matter its size :P

I think you can....he's kinda playing along with the Hi-Hats I think....giving that cool rhythm.

Yeah, that's probably on the backing track they use though.....On How You See The World it's done by Guy on the verses, I guess.

yeah, guy does it on this tour. ppl who wre at their cincert say that he walks around the stage while plaing it..but i don't know how cus he plays bass simultanly.

Guy will just play bass on the chorus and on the end section, leaving him free to play the shaker on the verse. I guess I might have 2 chances to see it played live soon so I will be able to check :D
