Coldplay - would have to be a mix cd with all my faves, as i couldn't choose between the 2 albums.

 

this makes me seem like i don't like modern music! there's soo many good albums to choose, albums by rem; radiohead, at the drive in, sonic youth and the Pixies would be my alternative 5 but if this were a "take with you to a desert island thing" i'd go with my first 5
