it's so ridiculous! Australia prides itself on its multiculturalism and then you go and see stuff like this happening! completely unnecessary! its still not over which is the wosrt part

I know it looks terrible but these kind of things happen in many places all over the world. The difference is how bad the situation actually gets and whether the incidents get international news coverage. I guess part of the reason it seems so bad is because Australia takes it as a big issue and the riots were unexpected. Not to say it isn't a big thing (coz it is), but at least the Aussie government is taking it seriously (as it always has) and does not tolerate racism in any way, which is a lot more than what many governments in the world can vouch for :rolleyes:
