The Golden Globes have just been announced, and I just want to know if anybody else is especially disappointed with the movies of 2005, or is it just me? When thinking of my favorite movies so far this year, I can't even come up with five. My favorites were Last Days, The Constant Gardener, Syriana, and The Interpreter, but that isn't exactly a list to get excited over. I did miss some movies that I wanted to see this year, so could you please give a few of your suggestions? (And I didn't miss Jarhead.) I'm looking forward to Brokeback Mountain and King Kong, so maybe they'll make up a little.

 

'99 was my favorite year for movies: Magnolia, American Beauty, Being John Malkovich, The Insider, The Talented Mr. Ripley, Three Kings, Eyes Wide Shut, Cookie's Fortune, and more. '99 couldn't have been better.
