i never watched it... but people says they don't like them, because comparing this one with the other Shyamalan's films this one is  very different.

does it is a good film for you?

its an amazing film! i also read all those bad things people said about it, but its so good.. the acting was amazing, and the story was great and even some few scares. couldnt ask for better

i don't use to believe other people opinions about films but... now i'm too critic with films... i usually find some mistakes in them, related with technical, or the story thread, or things like oh man, how can the room be fool of light if it's midnight?.. or well if are things like a killer story, i discover who is the killer in the very begining lol.. may be i've seen too much police stories lol.

but i'll watch it as soon as i can ;)

i used to be like that aswell, but no movie is perfect (except Closer) so i always found something to critic about a movie and made me enjoy a bit less.. just ignore those little things and ull love it ;)

last year for an editing course, we were discussing realistic story plots, and as an example we watched speed. now this film use to be one of my favorite-fun-films. the characters, the exciting plot, just everything. but after watching it with a critical eye, i totally find it ridiculous, and i hate that we did it on a film i like because now i can't just watch it without thinking of all the unrealistic things that happen :\

editing course? oh my that sounds exciting.. first post in this thread Kathy :)

oh well i found big mistakes in my opinion, that nobody mention in their critics..

never watched closer, and i know i should... jude  and clive *drolls*

i will try to ignore those things.

*write down The Village in her "Films to watch this year" list*

haha true! actually i forgot where this thread had gone too. well an editing & creative writing course.

ahem closer lol i saw that once and once was enough :shocked3:

that, and it's too was too in my face lol i'm thinking with a title like closer it would've been more viewer friendly, how wrong was i :uhoh:

hahaha its a real true honest and beautiful film! you expected breaking ups to be sweet kathy? :P thats why i love it, thats what love is. not what you see in simple love movies, those are more of a fairy tails.. everyone is beautiful and love will always win, wrong...

lol i know the poster of the film Will, thanks for it lol.. hehe.

ups J Robert is there... :uhoh:

i think i don't like her... oh well, but there are Jude and Clive :whip:

^ i never saw the village but it's probably better lol

haha, yes real, true and honest but befinitely not beautiful Will. imagine sitting in front of a loud speaker, head pressed against the back of the chair trying to escape the volume lol that's me watching closer.

i dont like her either, her character is crap in the movie :P and she's pretty good at playing it. its all about Natalie though :nice: awwww

well it does show a bit of the beautiful side of love, and alot of the ugly (real).. thats why i said its beautiful :P

man i should watch CLOSER now :o

really i don't like Julia Roberts .... as i don't like JLo as an actress, each film i watched of her (not for her of course), she makes me hate the film, what a bad actress  (i'm refering to JLo now).
