Vertigo 06 For Santiago and Honolulu

 

U2 will head to Chile next month and then to Hawai in April. These are the latest dates to be announced for Vertigo '06 and tickets for both shows go on sale later this week.

 

The band will play at the Nacional Stadium in Santiago on February 26th with tickets going onsale this Wednesday.

 

And they will play the Aloha Stadium, in Honolulu, Hawaii on April 8th with tickets on sale from this Saturday.

 

As soon as we have prices and ticket-sale links for these shows we'll bring them to you.

 

This will be the first time the band have played in Chile since February 1998 and the PopMart Tour. And it is twenty years since the band last played Hawai, on The Unforgettable Fire Tour way back in March 1985.

You'll need luck. I had two unsuccessful attempts to get tickets off ticketmaster.com :angry: But I found some honest fans to buy tickets off of. So you will get tickets to your show.

 

Just have a gameplan.

Holy shit... That's more expensive than the American legs! Is there GA, those tickets were only 50 bucks when they came here (even though I got scalped for mine... :rolleyes: )

 

I'm telling you though, although I've only seen their indoor shows, any amount of money you pay is worth seeing them. Like, beyond worth it. I've considered selling my soul to the devil for Honolulu tickets... :lol: :lol:

that tickets cost like 45 dollars

ok,but here with devaluation they're kind of expensive for the average, but there were lines of a couple blocks to pay cash,otherwise you had to buy online and be charged extra. the medium salary is $500 and the most expensive tickets were $250

For my December 7th tickets I went on right at 10, on ticketmaster, put in 2 and got upper level seating. I was extremely lucky, and they were fairly good seats, but that just goes to show how quick it happens...

 

 

Helpful hint: If you want good seats, or any hope of getting them, don't put in 4 or more. Or even 3. I put in 4 for May tickets and I got nothing (and believe me, having to resort to scalpers 3 times is annoying... :lol: :lol: ). Definately put in 2, or even 1. Ticketmaster's a bastard and, from my experience, will automatically lock you out if you put in more.

 

I have some pretty funny U2 ticket stories, now that I think about it.... :o :lol:

 

 

EDIT: lmfao I just wrote "stalkers" instead of "scalpers. Hahaha. You know, I was on ebay so much during their American tour that I think I was doing the stalking of the scalpers...
