Some scandinavian bands I know are Sondre Lerche, Kings of Convenience, and Club 8. Does your music similar to them? I've tried to listen to your music in myspace, but the sounds won't come out. :confused: I'll try again of course. :D
May 30, 200719 yr Sondre Lerche and Club 8 just had a show here in Jakarta about 2 months ago. And Kings of Convenience had come here too last year. It's too bad I missed their shows. :( Have any plan to come to my town too? Let me know if you do. :) Oh, and since you are good friends with KoC, could you please ask them when will they come again to Indonesia? :D I've heard some of Sufjan Stevens songs. Not much but I like it. While Sigur Ros, I gotta be honest that I've never listen to any of their songs. Shame on me! Hahaha.. Lots of Norwegian bands there. I'll be busy checking them out, I guess. lol

October 5, 200718 yr Hello, Juli! :) That's the name to the girl I sing with. Julie Stokkendal. Kings of Convenience are good friends of mine, and their music is fantastic. Sondre Lerche is also a good atrist. Never heard of Club 8. I'ts really hard to describe your own music, I think. I've been compared to Sigur Rós and Sufjan Stevens a lot. So you could say a mix of those two. ;) I've also been compared to a Norwegian musician called Thomas Dybdahl. You should really check him out. More awsome Norwegian bands you should check out: Serena Maneesh Jaga Jazzist Bigbang Rockettothesky 120 Days Röyksopp The Lionheart brothers The Danish band Mew is also pretty amazing. And from Sweeden: Taxi Taxi! I agree, you do remind of Sigur Ros and Sufjan Stevens a lot, but you still maintain originality! :) I am definitely going to listen to your recommendations. I'm digging Scandinavian music lately!

October 7, 200718 yr I have found my new favourite band and it's from Denmark. They're called Efterklang. They are so amazing! You should really check'em out. The make some of the most beautiful music I've ever heard. A great inspiration. www.myspace.com/efterklang www.efterklang.net :) I'm listening to Efterklang now and they sound great. Do they have any albums out? I think my mum would even like them! :D
