is it LSD that dangerous?

 

I'm going on holidays alone next week and I want to try it but I'm not really conviced, yet

 

I want to play a bit with my mind and just try it, more like an experiment but I've nevr tried anything like it so I'm afraid it's not th best thing to start with

That's weird, my friend and I were just talking about this today... :stunned: Weird coincidence...

 

He's got all this weird research on it and apparently is going to attempt to make it up himself in his basement ( :huh: I ain't tryin' THAT stuff!). I know a few people who've done it and nothing bad's become of them. I'm too terrified of that shit, myself. I also, on the flip side, have a friend who's relative took LSD awhile ago, had a few bad trips and is apparently a schizophrenic now. It's not really worth it to me. It's not like I'm going to discover God by doing it.

 

And I've, personally, never gotten high from drinking. What kind of alcohol are YOU drinkin', Headless Chick? :wink3:

that's what I mean. It's not big deal. The problem is I'm going to a very rural area... I could get some plants used for their connections with the gods (they have the same effect). That could be a start!

I'm askign about it because I thought someone had tried it and I wanted to ask a few questions about it before. That kind of things are a taboo here, you just don't talk about it, and there' no way to get into or get them legally. So IF I'm going to get into the black market to get that I would like to know a couple of things before.

 

I'm not really asking for an advice, I know what people will tell me and most people will not understand my motives and aims.

Well, I personally don't think drugs should be taboo at all. It just makes them more dangerous.

 

Talking to my friends who have done it, they say nothing bad has ever happened to them. If you think good thoughts before going into a trip, you'll have a good one. If you're scared and worrying about what could happen, all your fears will come true. or something. Of course, I'm paraphrasing here, I've never done it.

 

My friend also says it's non-addictive, from a physical standpoint. But mentally, it can be. Like sex, or something.

 

My friend said she saw pumpkin trees when she did it. :stunned: She drew them for me. Honestly, it didn't strike me as incredibly dangerous. Don't do it alone, have someone with you who's NOT tripping (so you don't go jumping out windows......) and be really careful that what you're getting isn't something else. Or that it's not MIXED with something else. That can be incredibly dangerous, of course.

Oh, and apparently it can last for up to 8 hours. It takes 2 hours for things to start to happen. Your body feels like jelly and you're very relaxed. Then the weird shit starts.

I would like to know (based on most cases) If your blood pressure goes up, If there is no problem in using it If you are diabetic, how long do you have to wait to get another dosis, If it's higly adictive ... that kidn of things.

 

I could probably get most of that from the net (and I have in some cases) but I don't trust everything in there. Suddenly, someone's recommendation/comment seems more "true"

Y Carla... no era mi intención decirte que hacer ni nada y tal vez hasta entienda el porqué quieres hacerlo, a mí también me gustaría experimentar algún día pero no ahora. Es algo que creo, se debe manejar con mucho cuidado y uno debe ser bastante inteligente para probar un poco y no arruinarse la vida en el intento.

I do have a problem there because I can't do it at home because my parents would freak out so I was thinking doing it during my holidays. I could lock myself up, thought that doesn't seem to be very safe :lol:

 

Thanks for the info though! It does help me a lot and it makes me wonder If it's woth the bother to go into the black market... I could get mushrooms from the Indians and theys eem to work alright aswell.

Si sé. No estas hablando con una osciosa que no tienen que hacer con su vida y quiere llamar un poco la atención (aunque la primera parte es media cierta :lol:) NO, hay una curiosidad y he estado leyendo unas investigaciones del tema, de Albert Hofmann y quiero ver unas cosas por mi misma. No es que me quiera morir (o suicidar sería en este caso) o terminar como una adicta en la calle. ¡No señor!

 

Y o haría con alguien, onda que me cuide, pero no tengo a nadie que quiera partcipar conmigo. El hecho de que esto sea considerado un taboo hace que todo sea más difícil, aparte que mis amigos me dirian que estoy aún más loca y poco menos me internarian. Es por esto que recurro a esto y debo planear hacerlo sola.

 

Igual ahora me estoy convenciendo de ir por los hongos alucinogenos primero. He leído de algunas variedades en el Altiplano y en el Sur y justo voy al Sur y luego al Altiplano, así que me puedo empezar a acostumbrar y comparar con eso. O, podría dejarlo para cuando crezca un poco más :dozey:
