i started to feel like like an adult at the age of 14... that's when i start working and making almost all my decisions by myself... ;)

i'm shared between feeling like a 35 years old ( life necessity, deal with dailies problems and all) and feeling like a 6 years old playing at supermario kart, jumping everywhere and stuff i don't want to mention.

Or i'might be under a pinoccio syndrom :uhoh:

I think I don't even realise that I become an adult............the strange thing is that I'm a person who never liked to do forbidden things (like drinking at the age of 12,or smoking at the age of 12)...........my friends did this..and when I was 16 then and allowed to do those things I didn't realise that.........somehow I wasn't used to things like that and I didn't miss them.....so I still felt like a kid who is not allowed to do such things!

But somehow something changed when I got 18 last year.....this was the first time I noticed that I can do what I want now.........is it law or other stuff....I'm more free now....this makes me proud or happy..........and when I pass my driving test tis week........then this is a big big step to becoming an adult for me!

I still feel like a little kid at times. I think that's probably why I view the world as my playground  :P I don't feel like a teenager anymore but I don't feel like an adult either. I've read in an article that more people around the world from the ages of 20-35 yrs old are taking longer into getting married and have a family of their own and that most of them always end up going back to live with their parents. I guess you'll always be a little kid inside which can be a good thing. The only difference is that as you grow older.. you just learn to handle situations more reasonable.

I think it depends on a certain level...

Like, I coach a football team. 14 / 15 year olds. and out of every adult I've met throughout the game I've probably been the most mature about the situations. For example - today we drew 2-2 with the team 3rd in the league (we're top), so I asked their manager who our man of the match was (we do the man of the match thing to keep morale and effort high) and the guy said "none of them" and proceeded to joke about the game.

He, right there, struck me as an immature, moron. He couldn't face that his team had been outplayed the entire game and only scored cause they have one decent player, who carried the rest of the team. I mean, we had several goals disallowed because their teams manager complained to the referee, and signalled offsides every time we got close to goal.

He had to be an immature idiot about the game. The best thing was though, this match was at our pitch, and we have changing rooms (only team in the division who does). They wrote on the wall "Walbottle is shit" and stuff like that.

Next week we play them at their ground. It's a chance for our players (who all saw the graffiti) to get their own back, by well and truly giving their boys one hell of a beating. (football wise that is, of course :P)

Then afterwards, I'll ask the manager where the changing rooms are... "Oh, you haven't got any? Unfortunate... Your team obviously isn't as sucessful as ours, eh?" and smile and walk off.

I HATE immaturity, unless it's by friends in a joking manner. (this is, naturally, only immaturity in my direction.)
