Well it can be quite entertaining sometimes!!

However, of all the winners, Kelly Clarkson's the only one to have achieved global success - nobody's come close since. And for her the song which really did it was "Since You've Been Gone".:)

Just the same as the only one to have had sustained success in the U.K. is the original winner there, Will Young (who's now becoming a film star, too).

You can pretty much forget all the others...................................:cool:

Ace was yet another in a long line of "looks before talent" candidates to have made it quite a long way on the show.

Last year it was Constantine.

Both of them are lacking in the vocal talent department. The ones who are left in at this point are deserving of their places, based on their performances - so that's a relief at least!!:)

And I have felt from the very beginning that Paris is immensely talented - she really can sing and will be a star no matter what happens in the show..................

^^ I would have to agree with you on Kelly Clarkson. Even I sing along to her songs at times, loool :p So Will Young is doing well in UK then huh? It's funny he's never really made it big here in Asia, all we ever heard was Gareth Gates, and he sucked so bad :|

 

Ace was real bad, I hated him with a passion. I'm not that fond of Paris though, she bores me at times :/. I loved Mandisa a lot, she was great.

In the previous series there was always somebody who stood out from the crowd, who you knew had an extremely good chance of winning and going on to success.

This year the final half dozen all have plus and minus points and it's a pretty open field...................................you can't really see any one of them going on to enjoy the same level of success as the previous winners, although they'll probably all end up with decent showbiz careers in one way or another..................................

I think you'll find they've all had at least a couple of albums in the U.S., although none of them have achieved global success.
