My Seattle pictures

Featured Replies

I smuggled in my Christmas present...Canon A620 7 megapixels w/video recording. I went to a public restroom outside the arena and put the camera between my boxers and jeans and slipped my belt through the camera string and let it dangle under my pants. Got through security just fine and took the camera out in a restroom near my seat. The following 15 pictures were the ones that turned out the best. I also have 800+ MB worth of videos...which is about 45 minutes.

I have full (or almost completely full) video versions of:

Square One, X&Y, How You See The World, The Scientist, Til Kingdom Come, Ring Of Fire, Trouble, The Hardest Part, In My Place, Fix You

And I have video clips (between 30 seconds and 2 minutes) of:

Politik, Yellow (Chris blasting 2 ballons on stage, haha), Speed Of Sound, White Shadows, Clocks

With the right camera, 200 level pictures don't have to look so bad.

Well, guys can get away with an extra bulge in their pants!

 thanks Jason for the pics. I'd be so happy if you could post your videos too!! I'll put up my pictures and videos in the next few days as well....some of them came out decent. :P

Luckily, I had no problems getting my camera in. I stuffed it in my big peacoat outside pocket. In the security line they checked my bag and they had me open up my jacket, but didn't have me empty out my pockets or anything. I did make sure to go to a sercurity line with a woman security officer.....the guys were kinda intimidating and scary. I'm sure she noticed my camera in my pocket, but didn't hassle me about it. "You're all right sweetie. Have a good time".....how nice is that? :P I think the 'no camera' rule is just to stop people from bringing in professional equipment (zoom lenses are out!)...everyone should be alright with their regular digital cameras.

Thanks again for the piccys!

No problem. Most all of my videos are 20, 50, 70, and 120 MB, which would be a pain in the ass to split into 10 or 20 files apiece.

*Watches the video recording of Fix You* It choked me up last night...and straight men aren't supposed to be this moved by a performance!

apparantly they didn't really care about cameras because before the show this guy was walking around and told us that it was fine if we used cameras as long as we didn't have the flash on.

and the reason that a lot of places don't allow professional cameras is because you can hide drugs behind the lens and if they ask you to take it off you can say "i can't because it'll get dust all over the inside of the lens"

but anyway, these pics are amazing, easily ten times better than the ones i took with a crappy digital camera my friend found. the view is good too we had seats on the floor and it sucked becuase my girlfriend is 4'11" and couldnt even seen the screen.

If a song can make you cry, then it's a sure fire sign that it's good music. I got pretty teary last night (especially at the end of the song when everyone was singing). I nearly couldn't sing it myself because I was getting so emotional....for two reasons really: 1) It's an absolutely beautiful song...one of my all time favs, 2) I knew the concert was over!!! :bigcry:

About the vids, could you possibly upload them to one of the filesharing sites that has 500MB, 1G limits (filefactory or something...so you wouldn't have to split them)? I'll even pay you to put them on a CD for me! ....must. have. videos. :o :P Pleaaaase?

Is the gallery working?

Great pix btw Jason...

Thanks for sharing these pics, they're really nice!

nice pix :D

Thanks so much for the pics

But well it's really strange how things are different among Countries, here they didn't even make me open by bag, I could have also gone inside with a super professional camera

:D Thanks for sharing~!

AWSOME PICS!!!! I wish I could get great pictures like that when I go to see them again but I know I won't be able to sneak a camera in  .

Thanks everybody...this concert was the main reason I wanted a digital camera for Christmas. I'm so glad they turned out this well.
