I'm getting sick and tired...

Featured Replies

....or people in this house coughing and moaning!

I don't care how insensitive I sound I'm sick of everyone around me getting sick...I manage to stay heathly why can't they.

Cough cough cough from all of them it's enough to drive a girl to despair! And it's not just that it's the moaning that comes with it:

"Ahh I've got a sore throat" And I need to know this whhhhyyyyyy?

"Oh I just can't stop coughing" YES I KNOW YOU CAN'T, I CAN HEAR YOU

"Owww" Every single time they swallow something Okay I got it the first time

I know this sounds incredibly bratty of me but the rare occassions I do ever get sick I don't feel the need to tell my family every five minutes!

I'd be more more forgiving if something was really wrong...but they've just got colds! That's it! There's just no need to complain alllllllllllll the time. There's worse things going on in the world.

/end rant

 It could be. But it's not...and that's the point. :P

 oh yes.hopefully we will never face it in W.Europe, but the fact is:people die in bird flu :(

Yeah, hypochondriacs are incredibly annoying. I have a friend who is constantly searching her body for weird "bumps" and "lumps" and pointing them out to everyone saying that it's probably cancer. :dozey:

i have a friend that after hearing this story of this guy that dad of insanity because he had a flie stuck in his ear and it laid eggs and the guy kept hearing buzzing noises (true story), was positive she has a flie suck in her eye because her eye kep jumping :dozey:

she's like that about everything, sometimes it's fun to scare her

Exactly! I'm not denying it's incredibly sad when people really are sick...I'm saying it's annoying when they're not and they're constantly complaining.

Bird flu is an awful thing I feel so much for people who are close to it. However we are not and all my family have is a cold...and they're being sooooooooooooooo melodramtic about it.

yeah i know what you mean, and they always talk in this low voice like they can barely get a word out... it can be pretty annoying

i rarely ever get sick either

I only found out today that someone at work has been recovering from glandular fever. Wonder who they were kissing at the Xmas do?

some people spend all their time complaining about things

that is crap ... people complaining about stuff

it just is a load for other people then ..

i'd rather shut up and keep my fuckin little problem to myself :dozey:

i know what your saying, if its just a cold, it will be over soon. just keep your cool. get outside more so you dont have to hear it and so you wont get sick.

heh

sick people never really annoy me. i don't mind.

Hahaha this topic is pretty funny.

Well Mimi I dont know how much they are complaining. Usually I tell people once, when I first see them, that I have a cold or sore throat. It's usually just so they know, for different reasons, in case they try and drink out of my coke bottle, or so they dont expect me to go play football or to go out clubbing or something.

I dont know why I'd mention it after they know though. Like, coughing all day, after telling them, and then saying "I've got a cold" just seems like, why would I say that? Its re-informing them.

I cant really imagine your situation meem.
