Featured Replies

ive rediscovered my parents record collection and now i cant get enough vinyl. i spent 30 dollars on used records the other day. anyone else obsessed? i dont even care that im the only person on the planet without and ipod anymore. never thought that would happen.

i've been looking around for a cheap old record player but I couldn't find any, still I couldn't resist and bought 'Queen Greatest Hits I' on vinyl just for the hell of it.

lol i know ive been buying them even tho i didnt have a working player, then i finally got a new one for xmas.

There's something about listening to vinyl that has always attracted me, it sounds so different, a lot better in my opinion. I dont have a record player, but i ofte play around with my sisters and I love it.

thanks so much :) i rly appreciate it

so beautiful with vinyl records in my room ;) :D

I got all of U2's records from the 80s on vinyl for Christmas, and I've got to say Bono's voice sounds that much sexier than it does on my ipod. lmfao, I don't know why. And I thought that was impossible!

Anyways, I think there's something "romantic" about vinyl. Maybe it's to do with the age of it (I absolutely love listening to my Beatles on the record player, I never listen to them on my ipod). I like the scratchyness, the rawness, the vintageness. ETC ETC.

Yes. I am addicted to vinyl. :smug:

yeah i thought it was pretty cool when i got my X&Y album it came with a huge poster of the album cover on one side and a whole bunch of coded mixing board on the other side! (really neat!!)
