htdaab is worse than x&y simply because it sounds too much like past u2 albums. they couldn't even bother coming up with something new, it sounds like they just used old tracks. and a lot of the tracks sound similar. i confuse the names of them while listening because of that.

and someone should tell bono to take those pretentious glasses off. doesn't he even wear them at night??? ridiculous! (the edge, we all know you're bald so quit trying to hide it!)

He wears them because he has a sensitivity to light. It's a medical condition, probably a result of his spending so much time in the spotlight and having pictures taken. Also, when he buys his sunglasses the proceeds go to African Relief.

Just for your information.

Oh, and I agree with you on the beanie thing. He looks much hotter without it. :wink3: Gah, I'm sorry. Was that too much information?

You know it.

Don't mess wit dis bitch! :smug:

parachutes kicks all ass

Original Of The Species and Fast Cars are enough to elevate (no pun intended) HTDAAB over X&Y.

I think Fast Cars is enough to elevate anything over anything.

lmfao that made no sense. But hell, I fuckin' love that song... :stunned:

an_cat' date=' the only thing in which i don't agree with u is your wish for chris to become more bono, i wouldn't like that in some ways..it's ok if you think that in a way that chris makes even more powerful lyrics (like u2 did in sunday bloody sunday, one etc.) in that way..to express all the things in even more extreme ways and that's all. as for the rest... :)[/quote']

Gah, I understand what you mean. I should clear up what I meant ;) I mean, I don't want Chris to BECOME Bono, because that would detract from Bono's.... specialness...? You know what I mean! But I do think reaching for that level of personal thought and emotion in the lyrics would be a VERY good thing. Chris' lyrics are a bit... lacking, which I don't mind at all. But if he could produce something on par to 'Acrobat' or 'One Tree Hill' or well.. the list can go on and on. If he could write like that, or aspire to, then that would make me very happy. In that respect, I wish he would become more like Bono. I'm not sayin' he should start rockin' the shades and cowboy hats. ;)

exactly. ;)
