They are nice. i dont agree with their religion but alteast they dont try to force it on people.

It's nice, I guess it's because they are not so much of a religion really, rather a life philosophy, and Budha isn't actually a God.

It's funny because the true soul of Islam is very similar to that of Bhuddism..

i like the budhust philosophy, that's what i think is good about budhism- that's it's more of a philosophy and not a religion

 

sometimes religion seems like the main cause of war... the budhist ppl seem very peaceful :)

Well I'm not a buddhist, neither believe in reincarnation though if you think a lot about it, from a metaphysic aspect its very plausible I mean, the sense of self a person can have is exactly the same others around him have, the same that others many years ago could have and the same others in the future will have. So you perfectly can imagine yourself being other complete different person in the future or in the past living in other way but in fact being yourself and anyone else at the same time as if we're all one. :blank:

 

I'm a very sceptical person so I don't believe anything that cannot be explained by natural laws but have to say actually reincarnation seems way more logical than dying and going to heaven or hell, whatever.

I saw something very odd the other day. Two of my mom's friends worship both Buddha and Christ. When they pray, apparently they say the Catholic Rosary a whole bunch of times, but to Buddha.

Yeah 5 things. You have to believe in one God and all the prophets (Mohamed,Jesus, Moses etc), you have tto pray 5 times a day, give a certain amount of money to charity, fast in Ramadan and if you are able to, make a pilgrimage to Mecca.
