making decisions, which you know are wrong

Featured Replies

i mean when you're in a group and nobody is sharing your opinion. you just know the thing you're gonna do is completely wrong, but your unable to persuade them.

that happened to me yesterday and i really dunno what to do about it. i was working with people i hardly know, but they know each other. i told them what i think about their decision of course, but they didnt want to understand me. i could've refused of course, but basically i couldn't. because if i did, it would have felt like cheating them. i have nothing against them, they seem to be really nice girls, plus i dont know any other people in that course and we're gonna have to do some excursions with this course and i fear being alone there all the time if i didn't get along with them, because i don't know anyone else, but they seem to know each other. i'm sure we're gonna be punished for what we did. i dont even care much about being punished (probably will be like having to come for two saturday mornings) it's more that i feel that i'm gonna be the one who's blamed. and i really dont know any arguments because i think it's just completely stupid.

im a bit confused by what you mean, but im sorry about whats happening :(

I think I understand what you mean... and in my opinion it's completely natural. There are very few people who would've reacted in a different way. When you're new somewhere, you just want to fit in. It makes sense. And when you do things that you don't fully support, you think they'd like you better. And that's often true... people are shallow... I don't know what you did... but i'm sure it wasn't too bad or you wouldn't have done it no matter how many people say you should. And if they were to blame you for it, they're stupid, and not you...

no, i did nothing bad, its more the situation, which made me angry about myself. i dont really wanna fit in... its just that people dont listen to you, and you cant really do anything about it. and i also think that i'm gonna be the one who will be blamed for it. most the time, the people who suggest doing something which they know is wrong are not the ones who will justify what they did. they often claim it was somebody elses idea, which really sucks.

a kid at school today egged on a fight, another kid told him not to egg it on.

The kid that told him not to is now suspended. Dunno how that works, but i think its what you're gettin at, am i right?

Btw that actually happened today at school.

wtf?! so how did that guy get suspended then?

who knows

It doesnt matter, you should always say what you think, its their problem that they dont understand you,not yours!

Very true,thank you Jesus.

hmmmm, sally, I'm not sure what your friends are doing. Maybe they're cheating on a project or something? I was in that situation one time where my team agreed that instead of interviewing the 6 people or whatever amount it was that we were required to interview for our project that we would fake the interviews. And we could have done it easily and not gotten in trouble but I told them not to do it and it was hard but I found all the interviews from the type of people we needed. We had to find people who used a (handicap) lift of some sort, preferably people who used a lift onto an airplane because that was our project. That might be one of my proudest moments in life was telling them that I found all the legitemate interviews and did them myself :P
