People always talk crap about bands that they never bother to really listen to. Believe me, as a U2 and Coldplay fan, I know this. :lol:

 

 

People are lazy and it's just easier for them to spit out whatever Rolling Stone says. I love how people feel so entitled to an opinion that's not even their's, but some magazines that they're just paraphrasing. It's pretty pathetic.

once upon a time ago i was one of those idiots who dissed coldplay. it was just the name of their 2nd album that i thought was stupid until i heard clocks...i've been in love ever since. i've never cried because i was happy before i heard them.

OK this could be long winded so apologies in advance.I am really pissed off immensely with idiots saying Coldplay are "depressing" now i have one simple point to make about that comment.I guarantee you the majority of people who say this LOVE hip-hop and rap which i personally dont like because it has no substance and the music is just constantly looped over and over again.The point im making is that arguably the the biggest ra star in the world,Eminem,has the most depressing lyrics you will ever hear,yet these clowns can come along and just pass judgement about Coldplay songs without having a bulls notion about whats going on,Im sorry but this is something I feel really strongly about because i play musical instruments and i know how long it takes to perfect an instrument and these guys are still learning and pushing each other for perfection and then for what for some fucking frog to eclipse months of longs days in a studio working their arses off.It really shows peoples mentality and I for one will not remain quiet on this subject if im talking to anyone and they slag Coldplay i FIRMLY put my point across i will not let someone pass judgement without knowing the foggiest and I think you all should too,I think you owe it to yourselves to stand up and believe in the music that you love because I know I do.
