One of Birmingham's largest and most popular nightspots won't be serving green martinis to St Patrick's Day revelers tonight.

 

The Blue Martini, an upscale lounge that has made the drink a St Patty's Day tradition, planned to close this morning for a week to show city officials its owners are serious about cleaning up their act.

 

The night spot had more reports of unruly behavior last year than any other liquor-serving venue in Birmingham.
