Youth group

Featured Replies

^ yea for sure. thats how i heard of them but shadow land and last Quarter are awesome songs too.

Went to see them last night, as I was impressed with what I saw at Coldplay. It was a good night, set list similiar to the one I heard before, one of the highlights was when they did an encore and sang See-Saw, very good performance!

Edit: For any Aus fans : just heard on the radio Youth Group live at the wirless- live concert played on radio- next week on triple J radio (not sure bout the time)

Listening (and recording) now. If anyone wants I may be able to upload, but it might not be great quality.

^ hey that would be great Sam, he he i actually forgot and missed it i'm afraid.

^I'll have it up by tomorrow night.

I'm getting a bit over them now. I've seen them 3 times and they're kinda boring live. Skeleton Jar was an awesome, awesome album, but Casino Twlight Dogs... not too keen on it really. Maybe I need to listen to it more.

I got the thing up early.

Make sure the tracklisting is the same as above first, because I think it may have rearranged into alphabetical.

Youth Group: The next Coldplay?

You were recently granted the honor of supporting act on the recent Coldplay shows that must have been an amazing experience. What was your favorite show on the tour? “For me it was the first show in Brisbane. Just coming out onto that stage in front of a really excited and welcoming crowd was amazing and unforgettable.” Esquire magazine in the U.S recently stated that the Youth Group “is that good, and this record’s that warm… better than anyone else since, well, since that Coldplay Guy.” Any thoughts? “That’s a huge compliment, unimaginable. I’m stoked with that.”

Youth Group Invading The East Coast

youthgroup.jpg

Supporting their highly praised third studio album, Casino Twilight Dogs (Anti-), Sydney-based band Youth Group are currently working their way along the East Coast as part of their five-week stateside sweep with Aqueduct. Youth Group's prior effort, Skeleton Jar, garnered them a nice support slot on Coldplay's trek down under. Hopefully Aqueduct doesn't get jealous of all the Chris Martin talk.

Tour Dates For Youth Group:

04/05 - Portland, ME - Space Gallery

04/06 - Cambridge, MA - Middle East Club

04/07 - Providence, RI - Century Lounge

04/09 - Hoboken, NJ - Maxwell's

04/10 - New York, NY - Mercury Lounge

04/11 - Philadelphia, PA - North Star Bar

04/13 - Washington, DC - Black Cat

04/14 - Pittsburgh, PA - Club Cafe

04/15 - Detroit, MI - Magic Stick

04/17 - Chicago, IL - Empty Bottle
