:D :D THE CONCERT WAS AMAZING!!:D

wow...i'll never get tired of seeing them live. it was beautiful. the energy from the crowd was fantastic, you could hear them singing along, i was singing my heart out. i went with my friend, it was her first concert ever, and it was a great one. she was awestruck, really. i thought that my seats would have been really bad, but they weren't! i think they were closer then when i saw them the first time in 2003 at the molson ampitheatre on lawn. i was in 308.

hehe i was wearing my shirt with their autographs on then:D some girl was like, "are those REAL?":stunned: and i'm like, "yep. met them last year" in my mind i was thinking "no they're not real, i just decided to draw on my own coldplay shirt." but i'm not mean, and i get where she's coming from since it's not likely or anything.

we got in there and after a while this girl comes up to us and was like "hi! what's your name?" and i'm like..."uhh...amanda." she was SO drunk. before it even started! and she's like "NO WAY! my best friend's name is amanda!"...and the same thing happend with 2 other people. then her friend came and told her she was making an ass of herself and took her away:P

richard ashcroft was pretty good. but nothing compared to coldplay. everyone was standing up and swaying and dancing. what if was amazing. tons and tons of blue cell phone lights were swaying in a sea of darkness and it was breathtaking. there was the occasional lighter, but most were cell phones and i joined in. the lights were amazing. red lasers for clocks, not green like the last times i saw them. the atmosphere was just fantastic.

chris let the crowd sing a bit of the scientist. one of my highlights, it's my all-time favourite song. another highlight was the yellow balloons. what you see in the pictures is nothing compared to actually seeing them!:stunned: those things are HUGE! and the gold glitter just added to everything. chris popped 2 with his guitar, and after when the lights shone on the glitter it just added to everything.

only a few problems with the show. during fix you, at the climax of the song when chris started swinging the light, right when he let it go it burnt out!:laugh4:

i was actually a little dissapointed that it happened, but i was on such a natural high that nothing could ruin my mood. and none of the other band members talked at all! none! jonny sang in don't panic for part of it.

in ring of fire i think it was, chris made a mistake and said that we could get out 50 cents back for it. (i think he's said similar things at other concerts) he had to switch guitars once. i loved trouble. i was so happy that they played it. and at the end of white shadows chris and jonny lay down on the stage.

me and my friend both got a shirt for $40. it's really nice:)

i can't say which concert i liked the best out of all that i've seen. at the kool haus, i was close, but the energy of the crowd wasn't even close to how it was last night. molson 2003 had a lot, but i think this was terrific. best energy out of all 3. everyone was so into it.

*sigh* absofuckinglutley amazing.:)

It would obviously be somewhat similar due to the DVD shooting going on. I wouldn't be surprised if the band was wearing the same, if not similar clothing in order to maintain continuity.

U2 filmed their concert back-to-back last year in Chicago and several songs notwithstanding, their setlists were near replicas of each other.

Seriously, setlist was the same that the first gig ???

If it's true, i'll be very sad :(

It had to be the same set list in Toronto as they were recording both shows for the DVD both so they could pick the best from each night.

the second show was worse than the first thats for sure, the fix you light not working, chris breaking his guitar during ring of fire, singing the wrong lines in places on til kingdom come and white shadows. Overall the show was just not as good as wednesday which was near perfect.

I loved the concert, regardless of how perfect it was!

I had a friend go to both concerts though and she said that on the Wednesday concert Chris interacted with the fans more and talked a bit more in general. They were a bit quiet on Thursday. Maybe they had to be cause of the DVD filming and all.

My Highlights

- Got myself a t-shirt. $40 well spent. Off to a good start...

- Cool how Chris came out 5mins before the start and told us that they were filming for the DVD and encouraged us 'to reach a noise level of 11'

- Yellow balls falling from the roof during Yellow... during which Chris popped two balloons with his guitar!

- John singing a verse during Don't Panic... I think...

- The crowd singing a few lines during The Scientist

- The red laser lights during Clocks was mind blowing

- Ring of Fire... WOW. Chris broke one of his guitar strings during this!

- The light of a bear being shown on the upper level during Talk

- The dangling lightbulb went out before the guitar riff of Fix You... regardless, I literally had chills up my spine at that point!

- One of my friends knew the security guard who was standing next to the stage and he let him in and he was standing within arms reach of the stage. After the show Will threw his wrist band into the crowd and he caught it!!! He showed it to me afterwards and he said 'The sweat is still fresh'

All in all, a night I'll never forget... Literally, cause it'll be on the DVD!

The concert was great!! I had 1st row floors and me and my bro made a sign that said Coldplay = How We See the World and he threw it on stage, and Jonny picked it up and they all held it and bowed with it!! I also caught a guitar pick!! I thought that Thursday's concert was better than Wednesdays...the crowd was a lot louder too!

here are some of my pics:

btw, does anyone have a pic of them holding up my sign? My camera wouldn't go to picture mode fast enough, so I couldn't...

Wowww...

I was at this concert. It was truly the best show I've ever attended, and I've been to the likes of Gwen Stefani, The Rolling Stones, and Shania Twain (none of who I even imagined could hold even a match stick -- much less a candle -- up to Coldplay, but Coldplay was even better than that).

We were unfolding our sign, which said COLDPLAY IS OUR LIFE we love guy, chris, jonny, and will. We were in 10th row on the floor. The security guard started talking to us, and asked if we wanted to stand by the stage for a few minutes and see it etc. (this was before Richard Ashcroft, so no action or anything). He came back 5 minutes later and said he would allow us to be in the VERY FRONT (I'm talking as close as you can get) for the WHOLE SHOW!!!!:stunned: If you were near the front, you probably saw us. We were pretty young (early teens) three girls screaming thier heads off all wearing Coldplay shirts.

My Highlights:

-being moved to the front!

-Chris coming out before the show

-Chris giving us a thumbs up and smiling at us during Kingdom Come

-the camera guys saying they'd put us in the DVD

-Jonny taking 2 pictures of the three of us with his camera (we had it in our hands, but it was grabbed -- btw if you have that camera, could you send me the scans?)

-the whole show was spectacular...if I HAD to pick a best song at the show it would have to be Talk

-the acoustic set...they were so close to us!

Thanks for reading. I had a truly amazing time and had to re-tell it to people who will appreciate (unlike my other classmates and family)
