Still reeling....

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

just another Coldplay fan here, wishing you a happy day. i'm still reeling from having gone to 2 of their concerts this past weekend in Long Island...i lucked out and got my already-awesome-seats upgraded to FRONT ROW (we sat right in front of Jonny)!! the show was amazing of course but was made all the more memorable bcuz i got a smile and wave from Jonny AND i touched Chris twice on the back and shoulder as he made his way past me (and back) during their finale (wowsers!!)...needless to say, these memories will last me until their next tour :)

love the site!:D

HI there, and welcome!

So how was it to touch his back? TWICE!

And isn't Jonny the sweetest?

Glad to hear you enjoyed it! Welcome to the site! :D

Welcome to the family :)

Thanks Everyone!

Thanks everyone, for the warm welcome. You guys are great!:smug:

If I coulod talk about the "back touching" experience a little more,

it was completely surreal. I never actually thought I'd be in close proximity

to anyone as famous, as talented (or as good looking) as any of the

Coldplay band members, let alone be within arm's reach of one! And yet, there

I was, front row at one of their concerts. At this point it was enough for me that Jonny was sweet enough to acknowledge the screaming little girl in front of him (aka: Me) with a genuine smile...

But faced with two opportunities to touch the back AND shoulder of one of the most amazing songwriters of our time, I could not pass that up. (Sorry to over dramatize, but give me a break - I love Coldplay! haha....) :D

Chris' shirt, for those of you who want to know, was a black, long sleeve knit

(not damp with sweat yet, since I believe they changed shirts before the finale). And so, I got to touch him coming and going from the stage during their encore. The whole evening was an experience i'll cherish for a long time... (FYI: i've looked repeatedly at the numerous pics and mpegs I took of that night...hahaha).

For those of you who read this post up till this point:

Thank you for indulging me and happy Coldplaying...
