The Hidden History of the Iraq War Critics

Featured Replies

haha so because he did what SO many other americans do, he is all of the sudden a bad president??? you know who the foreign leaders want to talk to and respect? Bush senior and Clinton, they dont respect bush, he is a little monkey boy, just a little daddys boy who got what he wanted for his entire life. You say clinton sucks at "politiks" because why? because you like spending 70$ to fill up? because you like guest workers? because you like sending our soldiers off to die for obvious lies? why? did clinton do this???

if he did, please inform me

edit, i do not agree with what the president did (adultery) i thinkk it was his worst moment, but its not even a poilitical issue, its his personal life. what happened was between he and his family, it had nothing to do with poilitics, even though i think it was a bad choice

and clinton invaded iraq because "saddam gave aid to al queda" when??? when did he decide to let his buddies jack up fuel prices?? or decide that just because his religion says its wrong, that gay people cant get married?? i mean how are these things clintons fault? he didnt fuck up with Katrina, or Iraq now did he?

Tis true... At least in the parts of the world where I come from. Clinton might have had a big no-no personally, but both of them are recognised and respected as top-notch statesmen. Colin Powell as well - at least until he got himself entangled in the Bush Administrations web of unintelligeble lies. Bush Jr. on the other hand... Frankly, I've never seen or heard a worst elected national leader in a functioning democracy in my life (all other past Prezzies / PMs throughout history included). I'd be ashamed to have him as my prime minister!

And since a proportion of us here are into Bush bashing, here's a link that'll get your day moving... It sure made me laugh

Apparently it's the most popular screensaver in the US. Hmm... I wonder what that implies

HINT: If he gets stuck, move him with your cursor... He can even be thrown around (I sure found that therapeutic... though the reasons behind this reaction are somewhat disturbing )

hahahahaha

it's so funny

dude we have hardly any oil left, for one i am glad the gas prices are so high, major gouging or not, i think its time people wake up and see that, it is running out, and if it runs our or not in our lifetime is irrellivent. It WILL run out soon, and what are we going to do just leave our next generation with their thumbs up their asses thinking "oh shit"

and to mr cool. dude brought the economy back? what are you talkign about man? we are in the lowest deficte EVER! how is that bringing the economy back?? i mean just about everything has a loophole for failure in it, guest worker programs, no child left behind, the WHOLE katrina catastrophe, iraq, everything. Rumsfeld is a blundering fool and he needs to step down immediately, but of course in the words of our brilliant president Mr. Bush "I listen, i hear the voices, but that doesnt matter, I'm the decider...." well said mr president, well said. I just get so sick of people bashing clinton for doing a good job when people look upon bush as the worst president in history (new time magazine), even going so far as to compare him to adolph hitler. its just frustrating, clinton does a good job and people try to compare him to bush?? jeez, if clinton ran again i would vote for him

au contraire, there are many places within america full of oil we need to drill that could lower prices. we just need to do that. overall Bush brought our economy back from 911.

Clinton did a good job? HAHAHAHAHAHAAHA besides jimmy carter he was one of our worste presidents, he screwed america over BIG time. If clinton ran again i'd move to Europe and sit back and watch the terrorist attack us again and again without fear of being attacked back.

Yes' date=' if we didn't have Clinton, we wouldn't have these pressing issues.[/quote']

We'd have terrorist sitting afganistan free to do as they please without worry of america doing anything back after they attacked again....we wouldnt be worrying about iraq.

Not like he can make them not jack up fuel prices....i mean he cant force companies to lower prices.

CLinton fucked up and lead to 911, let many other terrorsit attacks happen without striking back, cut funding to the military and intelligence agencies and help put in force laws that tied their hands behind their backs. we clinton to thank for alot of bad shit.

ps=katrina was the fault of many people, including democrats not just bush.

Top notch statesmen because he didnt stand up to anyone. you back down the world and they'll consider you top notch statesmen. clinton was europes bitch ofcourse they'd think he was a grand ole statesmen.....Bush doesnt get pushed around by europe and isnt their bitch and he's not, thats the difference.

In your sig, you impy bush goverments a dictatorship. It is not....you clearly have NO clue what a dictatorship. its truly sad.

haha didnt stand up to anyone? who needs standing up to? Iran, north korea, china. Iraq was no longer a threat and everyone knew it, the only thing they did was keep Iran from enriching uranium, now that iraq is gone, iran does what it wants because they know we can beat them now. They ALL have nukes and they ADMIT it, if we want to go "nuke hunting" go for the people who have them. and you keep saying clinton was such a bad president.....how?? can i have some exaples?

the clinton administration TOLD the bush administration upon departure that al queda was planning to hijack planes, what did bush do? he went and read a book at an elementary school.

He didnt stand up to alqueada or any other terrorist group, or Iran or North Korea.

What did bush do? Not much seeing as how he was bearly in office and with Clintons budget cuts and teh laws he passed he really couldnt do anything. specialy because they had very little intel on teh situation. Intel that should have been gathered under clinton but he was too busy cutting funding, ignoring terrorist and letting dumb laws that tied the intelligence agencies hands behind there back. by the time Bush got in office there was nothing he could have done to stop it. Thanks to good ole Bill Clinton we were screwed WAY before Bush was even elected.

that happens with EVERY presidency, even bill clintons. But you are thinking of being screwed, how screwed do you think the next generation of people is going to feel> paying for a useless war. With all of bush's tax cuts for the rich, we lose so much money it isnt even funny, but im going to stop posting in these political forums, because, its obvious, neither of us are going to budge on the our opinions, and we cant change it anyways so there is no point in arguing, mrcool, i respect your opinion, though i dont agree with it. We do have one thing in common however...coldplay :)! its good that all kinds of people and their opinions can join together and share a common interest. thats why i got on this forum, to put aside these issues and talk about a band i love, and from now on thats what im doing. nice talking with you mr cool!

I don't think that a president talking to Europe and being nondismissive of them is a BAD thing..... It CERTAINLY isn't.... Not compromising, being dismissive, being arrogant about policies... that is a bad thing. Note: Not just talking about George W. here. I think that the entire country is getting like this... It's like we're trying to be all isolationist (all "fuck Europe we'll go it alone!") but at the same time make the world OUR bitch. It just doesn't work and I think it comes across badly to other people in other countries...

But being their bitch is. when we have a leader he must not be pushed around by any other country, he must be strong, unlike Clinton. its nothing to do with arrogance but it has to do with not being other countries or leaders bitchs.

It doesnt come across well because alot have the attitude that were either their bitch or stuck up assholes.
