May 19, 200620 yr That can be two reasons why I still don't get why well dressed people are called "emo" and everybody dislike them. First, that's because you people all are crazy and offence everybody on your way (I hope this reason isn't real one) Second, I'm too dumb to get this deep thought (Well, I know it's not true cos I'm very smart)
May 19, 200620 yr emo must be the single most used word in the vocabulary at the present time by people of my age..it just gets on your nerves, where did it all come from?
May 19, 200620 yr http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=emo from urbandictionary.com They sound like some kind of "alternative chav" movement!!:laugh3:
May 19, 200620 yr Well I was talking about those specific three guys. Most other people who dress this way, in my experience, I have found that they are quite selfcentred, and image-obsessed. But Im sure that many emo people are nice normal people. but hey...you know everything! :) and calling people fascists a bit much dont you think? Dividing people in categories is a fascism, imo. And may I ask you a question?..What do you mean "dress this way"? Guys in this pic wear pants and T-shirts, what's wrong?
May 19, 200620 yr Author That can be two reasons why I still don't get why well dressed people are called "emo" and everybody dislike them. First, that's because you people all are crazy and offence everybody on your way (I hope this reason isn't real one) Second, I'm too dumb to get this deep thought (Well, I know it's not true cos I'm very smart) it's not well dressed people, it's people who pose. it's not about their clothes, it's about their personalities. the emo people I know are self centered generally and moody... there are probably a lot of nice emo people. but the majority or at least the most noticeable ones are like that.
May 19, 200620 yr So...emo people are people who are selfish and think mostly about themselves?.. We've got a problem then, I suppose I'm emo too then.
May 19, 200620 yr Dress this way? Well most of them wear the tightest skinnyfit jeans you can get...usually with the bottom part falling off their backsides. Like I want to see that. I was classifying 'dress' as hairstyle too...the hair over half of face. I agree thebestyoucan....perhaps Im classifying on clothes too much. A lot of "emo" people are always in a band...making up a band...fixing their hair...its a trend at the moment and its getting tiresome. A lot of them seem to have an attitude that the worlds against them....

No offence, but really, why should you care? They dont' say anything bad about you, so don't say it about them. People are free in their life style. Weird hair and tighty jeans+thinking about themselves as about out-of-society doesn't mean they're bad, just different from you.
May 19, 200620 yr Author So...emo people are people who are selfish and think mostly about themselves?.. that's the impression many of them give off.
May 19, 200620 yr Author Then almost all people are emo. nooooooo it's not the self centeredness and all that which makes them emo, it's the emoness which happens to be associated with the self centeredness from what I've seen before. but really I think it's the teenage highschoolness which does it more than anything. It's a lopsided equasion, it only goes one way.
May 19, 200620 yr Ok ok.....Maybe one day I meet a real emo person and then I'll be able to say what I think about them, now all this situation about emo people is stupid for me, like you have nothing else to discuss and that's why you imagined these people....Weird a bit.
May 19, 200620 yr Author why should you care? because from what we see they look like they're making fools of themselves. If your friend wore pink fuzz and bunny ears every day to school and people made fun of them, wouldn't it seem they're making a fool of themself? that's how we feel, but it's mostly the way they act and the music they listen to, it's more about their overly dramatic lifestyle.
May 19, 200620 yr thebestyoucan......we know what we mean. ;) I dont have a total hatred for emo people or anything!!! Just their attitudes sometimes and their bizarre choice of hairstyle.
May 19, 200620 yr Yeah, but it's non of your bussines. They can wear what they like, listen to what they like, be what they wanna be like. They don't care if you like them or not and I think it's great.
May 19, 200620 yr Yes, I agree with you.....but its become to the point where theyre not being how they want to be/different from others. Its a big trend. A lot of them are just copying each other.
May 19, 200620 yr Author Yeah' date=' but it's non of your bussines. They can wear what they like, listen to what they like, be what they wanna be like. They don't care if you like them or not and I think it's great.[/quote'] aha, yes... a lot of people feel that way. I don't want to interfere with someone's uniquness but if I feel t hat they have a problem I think they should change. I don't find anything wrong with that and disliking it. I don't actually hate emo people but I do hate their style and how they seem to make themselves look good when other people are not in their special "clique"

If it's so, I hope you understand how ridicuolus it sounds, cos you can't make te hole world be like you wanna it to be. So if you realize how pointless it is, why do you discuss it? You can dislike them, but what's the point in talking with other people about how selfish and annoying "emo" people are? They won't change because of your will.
May 19, 200620 yr Im pretty sure we dont want to "change the world"....:laugh4:! Just passing comments, our own opinions about the emo "culture"...I take it you dont have any people like this where you live. we can discuss it if we want to!
May 19, 200620 yr Author So' date=' you think they have a problem (cos they're selfish and dress weird) and that's why they should change-cos many people don't like them, right?[/quote'] yes I hope you understand how ridicuolus it sounds, cos you can't make te hole world be like you wanna it to be. May 19, 200620 yr yes so the only point you have here is that I can't change the world and it's not worth trying. No. My point is that you shouldn't judge other people in their life style n all. Everybody's free, let peple be what they wanna be, nobody has to change cos you want them to. And actually, it's possible to change the world, but not by discriminating people.
