November 8, 200619 yr yep:D but you should chat more instead of making jokes:P OK - then please explain your apparent obsession with Simon Cowell!!
November 8, 200619 yr Bye Iris! Keane will be great Felix, when me and Steph saw them they were brilliant. We thought it was like a big singalong cause' everyone knew the words to every song, it was funny!! Are Keane big in Germany?
November 8, 200619 yr Yeah Kara, it's exactly the same tunnel you have to use when you're driving to Denmark. What a surprise... :nice: Ah difficult word I think. I just don't have any idea of what you could write about it. But you already have written something which you might show in front of your course? How long did you search for? Bye Iris!
November 8, 200619 yr @Mark: well, I know, he goes home at about 3 pm - that's when I'm just about to go home from uni  And I don't know whats extreme about skipping a class because of a phone call ;) I even skip classes because of less important things ;D Well in the UK that's known as "bunking off"!!:P
November 8, 200619 yr Bye Iris! Keane will be great Felix, when me and Steph saw them they were brilliant. We thought it was like a big singalong cause' everyone knew the words to every song, it was funny!! Are Keane big in Germany? Obviously not big enough to do a proper tour. It's a disgrace that they're not playing anywhere like Cologne, Düsseldorf or Bonn. I'm pretty ticked off about it.
November 8, 200619 yr They were brilliant? Cool :D Hm... it seems, I'll have to bring my Keane-Songbook with me, since I don't know every song's lyrics by heart lol :laugh3: Kean big in Germany... I don't think, they're THAT big. They're no underdogs, but I think many people here know their songs ("somewhere only we know" f.e.), but they don't know the name of the band - at least that was the case with me  However, they'll just do two gigs here and they're both pretty far away, that's kinda sad :( But I'll go there anyway (to the Berlin-gig) und *cough-cough* skip my thursday's classes  :laugh3:
November 8, 200619 yr Well in the UK that's known as "bunking off"!!:Pyeah.... :laugh3:
November 8, 200619 yr Well in the UK that's known as "bunking off"!!:P there's no compulsory attendence in our lectures - so no "bunking off" there, no no  :D

November 8, 200619 yr LOL@more bunking, haha. Well, maybe I exaggurated, but most of people knew the words at my concert. and the band is from near where I live in Sussex...:nice: haha! Lars, I've done research on 'expand' in people putting on weight , building/architecture, explosions, chemical reactions, population in the world expanding, loads more, but the one Ive concentrated on is crowds, mobs and cults...how they expand by recruiting people etc etc. Its too vague and hard!!
November 8, 200619 yr Hehe, I remember Soccer AM when Keane were guests and they said that they aren't big in Germany. Hm, I have the same opinion as Felix. First I also thought "This Is The last Time" was a song by Coldplay when I wasn't really into them ages ago. But "Is It Any Wonder?" was the World Cup theme song on a German TV channel though. ;)
November 8, 200619 yr I even skip classes because of less important things ;D ... which are??! lol nah, I'm kidding, of course
November 8, 200619 yr ... which are??! lol nah, I'm kidding, of course  :laugh3: :P you're one of the most important reasons, of course  - but I actually meant "getting an earlier train" as a less important one

November 8, 200619 yr "population in the world expanding" Lol now I remember that it was my main topic of my skilled work in geography, but only focused on Germany, not in the world.
November 8, 200619 yr :laugh3: :P you're one of the most important reasons' date=' of course  - but I actually meant "getting an earlier train" as a less important one [/quote'] I know, I know :nice: rain is also a less important one... :laugh3:
November 8, 200619 yr I know, I know :nice: rain is also a less important one... :laugh3: Only for wimps!!:P
November 8, 200619 yr Only for wimps!!:P maybe  But I prefer lying in my warm and cosy bed with someone to sitting for nearly one whole hour in a train being completely wet, after I got to the train station by bike :dozey: But you can call me a wimp nonetheless :D
