Ah, jealousy. When I was young I always wanted to skate, but I wasn't good enough, so later I prefered Inline-Skating more than using a skateboard.

Yeah, the floods are very bad this time. In my little city 4 people are still missing, after their cutter sank in the North Sea a few days ago. There were so many journalists here. Haven't seen it before...

My parents are so in love with London. They had nice weather and visited nearly everything. They met a boat tour on the Thames, visited the Aquarium, the Millenium Eye and the Tower. One day they also saw a wedding with thousands of photographs, but they didn't know who it was.

Probably some wannabe celebrity from Big Brother or something!!:P

Yes, you most definitely are.;)

Mark, I took some pics of the beach today, but for some unknown reasons the USB-adapter doesn't work... :veryangry:

But instead I have some more pictures of London taken by my parents...

Well, all these typical tourist places though...

I really hope the weather will be fine in 3 weeks again. Last time I had two sunny and one rainy day and I was content with it. ;) Are there already Christmas lights at Oxford Street?

alrighty' date='but i meant you with this post[/quote']

As usual, you were mistaken.;)

Yes - far too early if you ask me!

Ahh nice! :nice: Last year there were a lot of lights with Ice Age at Oxford Street. I really can't wait to visit London again. It's always an unbelievable feeling. On Tuesday when I was in Hamburg I noticed again that I'm someone who like the life in big cities more than living in the country.

Here's a picture I took today. I'm standing on the dike and as you can imagine the water which is in the background now reached the street a few days ago.

Kara, when is your next concert? For me it's a crazy feeling to not have any tickets at the moment, although I still have plans to visit some the next months. :D

I'm going to see Marillion at my fave concert venue in May, and I hope to see Snow Patrol in Düsseldorf in Feb.

There's also a chance to see Morrissey next month.

Never heard of Marillion before...

Are Snow Patrol still touring through Germany in February? They were already in Hamburg one or two months ago. Wanted to see them at a festival in June, but they have cancelled their performance... :dozey:

I saw an advertising pillar with Morrisey in Hamburg which looked a bit like Sarah's famous and glorious "Fat Robbie" one situated at the Reeperbahn in Hamburg. She once posted it in another thread...

LMFAO! :D

Ok, I'm joking! :D

My next concert is Muse on the 21st Lars! CANNOT WAIT!!!!!!!!

Im sure another good band will tour soon :nice:

heeey, that robbie pic was taken by... meeee! :D

I just read that lars already said that, haha ;D

hello, hello! :nice:

Ah, that's why I'm so jealous that you're living near London, because every big band is performing there. How long do you need to reach central London by train?

Muse will also perform in Hamburg, just a few days after your concert, but I don't have any time to see them. :( I really hope Bloc Party will do a little trip to Germany next year after the release date of their new album.

Huuuhuuu Sarah! Sorry, I used your Robbie-advertising pillar. :P Hope it was ok.

lol sure lars, it's a GREAT picture, I can understand why you couldn't resist to post it here :P ;D

It takes about 30-40mins to get to London. Yeah, its great being so close! How far are you from Hamburg again?

Hey Sarah, hows it going! :)

Haha, sure... :sneaky:

What have you done with Felix? Why isn't he online today? Are you at home or in Lübeck?

Lol, I just found a funny pic of my former English teacher (the one who showed as a Japanese porno instead of a Shakespeare film) where he's standing in front of an advertising pillar in Vienna with Pamela Anderson on it and he touches her ass. :D

Oh that's a good connection Kara. I need 50 minutes to reach Bremen by train and 2 hours with a car to Hamburg. Unfortunately big artists and bands never come to Bremen, except Christina Aguilera who's coming to the next show of "Wetten, Dass?!" next month. LMFAO! :D
